• Conducted research on the role of effective Digital Citizenship Skill Intervention with 2nd grade students; results

therapy; 40% reported increased self-esteem, 100% reported satisfaction with content and skills learned
• Attended and participated in school attendance, PBIS, PLC, and Chatham Counselor PLT meetings

• Assisted in the management of students with Individualized Education Plans and 504 plans
• Conducted a needs assessment of 35 seventh graders on their desired role of what school counselors should offer;
60% reported career planning
• Contacted North Carolina post-secondary institutions requesting donation of informational packets and/or college
regalia to help promote the awareness of educational opportunities available to a rural, impoverished area; 76% of
institutions participated
• Assisted in developing a “F.I.R.E” [Friendly, Integrity, Respectful, Effort] Inspection Day in accordance with a
new MTSS behavior core initiative
