INTRODUCTION
Before you begin to read this book, and especially before beginning any
actual spell-casting or use of the powerful invocations and chants detailed
here, it’s important that you take some practical, precautionary steps.
Knowing and understanding each and every aspect, word, item or element
in every spell, and what each might signify, is really not as important as
utilizing those special items that are meaningful to you, and knowing what
items could and should — and also should not — be used when casting
love spells or crafting incense, potions or tonics.
There are some typical household items that are used in a number of spells,
and other items can oftentimes be found in flea markets, thrift shops or
antique stores.
Take your time looking for the most unique and extra-special items to
personalize for your spells. Don’t merely scurry off to the nearest “Big
Box” retail superstore or department store to purchase mass-produced
items.

It’s best to become familiar with the item; use it, to let it become a part of
you and your life. Doing so will make your spell that much more powerful
and will help it become more lasting.
Yes, there may be an instance when you really must rush out to buy an
item, that’s OK, but you’ll have to remember to concentrate a little bit
harder when using that particular “non-personalized” item.
Additionally, in the spells contained in this book, there will be no real need
to make a large circle of protection for yourself while you are casting any of
the spells detailed in this book, because you will not be dealing with
anything negative or evil, and so nothing negative will be expected to come
back to you. Other books in this series might have spells that could require
a circle of protection to avoid having negative consequences come back at
three times the original strength of each spell.
When you perform a spell, you are simply tapping into an ancient, positive
power...accessing a force that has been in this sphere with us since the
beginning of time.

However, you needn’t go rapidly into casting any spell, or starting any
ritual, unless and until you have a deep understanding of the crucial things
that are essential to that spell, and to the art of spell casting.
Preparing yourself completely at the beginning will make the whole effort
work better throughout. Even the simplest spell requires your full
attention and concentration, so be sure to read and understand exactly
what you need to do.
It’s best to read the entire spell from beginning to end at least twice after
you have made the choice deciding which one to cast. Be certain that you
know in advance exactly what you must do, what’s going into the spell, and
what’s going to happen when and after it’s performed. If you can, it’s wise
to memorize all the lines in the entire spell’s chant, while trying to visualize
the desired end result while casting it. Envision in advance what needs to
be done to execute the rituals, and visualize yourself doing it, in order to
allow yourself to perform it all in one fluid movement.
Knowing what needs to be done, and when it needs to be done, will aid
you in executing the spell. In cases where the spell would be too long to
memorize, it is acceptable to use cue cards.

Make a ‘To Do’ list in advance: Should your chosen spell need certain
specific rituals to be acted upon at a specific time, or a list of ingredients
where some may need to be conjoined or concocted, checking off each
activity and ingredient on the list one-by-one will help you better prepare,
so you can be doubly sure that everything needed gets purchased, laid out
properly, and is ready beforehand.
Preparing ahead regarding the calendar, the weather and the upcoming
phases of the moon is best; making lists, laying out all the materials and
memorizing the spell (or re-reading your prepared cue cards) are some
other tangible steps that, ideally, ought to be taken in advance.
Preparing your mind is another one of the key things you have to do
before embarking on any spell or ritual. Concentrate on the moments
leading up to your casting as well as while you are performing the rituals;
imagining what’s going to happen to you when the spell succeeds and while
you are waiting for it to work is as important, too, as knowing what you
must do. Mostly, remember to focus. If the spells call for you to think a
particular thought, then to have your mind wander will merely make
casting the spell a waste of your time.

CHAPTER 1
GUIDE TO CASTING SPELLS
This guidebook is meant to be used to help you learn how to create and
cast a magick spell.
It lists the “recipes,” the materials, tools, time-frame, aspects, rituals,
chants, instruments, implements, stages and phases that are required to
perform your desired spell.
Preparation Prior To Casting
• Choose the exact category, topic and issue of your spell, focusing on
what particular problem needs to be solved or challenge overcome by the
spell.

• On a special, meant-to-be sacred, piece of paper, using the directed
writing implement, note the purpose of the spell and the sequence in which
you seek it to work, i.e., decide whether it will be divided into phases, such
as invoking the four elements, or raising and releasing power, or merging
the spritual components into one.
• Plan what you are going to say and write it down on your sacred spell
sheet. (You may also, of course, let the words come to you spontaneously.)
• Choose the proper time for your spell. Consider the following
influences:
1. The season
2. The equinoxes (past and upcoming)
3. The phase of the Moon
4. The day of the week
5. The hour
• Consider any time limits (for example, 'May this spell hold sway until
the Moon has ebbed away?') and ensure that you can adhere to them.

• Choose the place for your spell. If you are working outdoors, and it is
a spell that will last over several days, bear in mind any possible changes in
the weather.
• Choose the exact spot, the environment, and the space, for your
spell. Make sure you have enough room for any circle you intend to cast.
Set up your altar as far in advance as you can.
• Choose the specific candle that’s best for your altar; for instance, the
candle’s color will be indicated in the instructions, but its diameter will
need to be determined by your specific candleabra. Candles are usually
used to mark the quadrants of the circle and also may represent people.
Check they are the right color. Inscribe and anoint your candles in
advance.
• Choose which associated symbols will act as your inner
consciousness’ focus for the spell.
• Choose and procure your tools, instruments and elemental devices.

• Choose and procure your herbs. Check whether you are supposed to
empower them before or during the ceremony; write down the enchanted
words as necessary to remind yourself as cues.
• Make and/or procure any sachets or poppets you intend to use.
• Choose and procure your oils, incenses, crystals and ritual substances.
• Consecrate any ritual substances.
For/During The Ceremony
• Cast your circle.
• Invoke the elements and angels.
• Focus on the symbol of the spell and declare your intentions.

• Raise the power to absorb energy from the cosmos, creating a cone

After The Ceremony
• Dispose of materials - some may need to be left out in the light of
the Moon, or buried or thrown to the winds; others may be kept in your
home, or wrapped in silk and placed near an object, or sent to the person
for whom the spell is intended.
• Snuff out the candles, unless they are to be left to burn down. If this
is the case, make sure there is no risk of fire.
• Cleanse and recharge your tools.

CHAPTER 2
LOVE SPELLS
Each love spell varies in strength, potency and intensity. If you are new to
spell-making and casting, start with the spells of the softest strength.
Newcomers to spell-casting, understandably, may not be properly focused,
and this may cause a mistake. Mistakes are normal and are to be expected.
The worst-case scenario result of the majority of the spells in this book, if a
mistake was to be made, will be for it to not work. However, in the cases
of stronger spells, you could cause the spell to have an unintended effect,
which could potentially be unfortunate and will thwart the ultimate goal
you were trying to achieve.
You may also inadvertently end up affecting someone else by accident.
So, while learning, take your time, and work your way up slowly to the
stronger spells, aim for those when you get more experience and when you
get better at it.

SPELLS TO ATTRACT LOVE
The Root of Love Spell (for women)
Goal:
To bring your true love in to the picture within two months.
What You Will Need:
Two mandrake roots.
A strand of your hair.
A pinch of cayenne pepper.
All of the petals collected from three red roses.
A teaspoon of Anise seeds.
Three drops of Lavender Oil.

A Queen's Root.
Two cinnamon sticks.
This delicate spell will take approximately twenty minutes to complete.
Spell Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a fire-safe cauldron while chanting this
incantation:
“I conjure thee,
I conjure thee,
I'm the Queen
You're the Bee
As I desire, so shall it be.”

Repeat this incantation seven times using all of your energy to envision the
perfect ideal true love you want in your life.
Within two months (usually on the 29th to 39th day), you will meet a new
love. Be sure to be conscious of all the new people that enter your life, as
well as any new situations you are drawn into, such as party invitations, a
new networking group, a meeting or group session scheduled where you
have been asked to be in attendance, a convention, conference, class,
seminar or expo.

The Neptune Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love to your side with the aid of Neptune.
What You Will Need:

Romantic music which brings romantic thoughts to your mind.
(NOTE: This music should not be something something you associate strongly with any one specific individual.
As having a live musician handy is unlikely, you will need a source upon which to play this music: an iPod pre-
loaded with the song, or a satellite receiver and station/service, or a CD and a CD player, etc.)
A sheet of thick paper or cardboard.
A candle of your favorite color, PLUS either a red or a pink candle.
Fire-starting apparatus: A lighter or matches.
A red magic-marker or crayon.
This is a delicate spell, one that will take approximately one week to
complete.
Spell Instructions:
Play the romantic music softly while clearing your mind. It is important to
prevent yourself from having thoughts about any one specific person, do
not let those thoughts enter your mind when performing this spell.

On a piece of thick paper, index-weight stock or cardboard, place a lighted
candle in a holder, a candle of your favorite color (this will represent you).
Then, light the red or pink candle to represent the universe who will be
choosing whoever your new love may be.
Using the red magic-marker or crayon, draw a heart around the red candle
on the cardboard.
Every day, for at least a week, relight the candles in the evening. As soon as
you light the candles, move them slightly closer together, so that on the last
day, the candles are as close together as possible. Each time, play the same
music while thinking about your goals for love.

The Moonlight Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love to your side utilizing the awe-inspiring power of
moonlight.
What You Will Need:
A sampler size of your favorite scent.
A pink candle.
A small knife.
This spell will take approximately one night to complete.
This spell must be done on the night of a full moon.

Carve the shape of a heart in the candle with the knife. Place the lighted
candle in a holder atop a windowsill where it will receive the full
moonlight. Place the scent container in front of the candle and say:
“Venus, grant me

Through this scent,

Let the candle burn out naturally, then carry the scent with you, spraying
on a little spritz whenever you are out or may be meeting people. Increase
the power of the magic by repeating the invocation as you put on the scent.

Dragon Love Spell
Goal:
To bring a new great lover into your life by praying to the wise dragons of
the earth.
What You Will Need:
Seven stones.
Rose petals.
Apple seeds.
A lodestone.
This spell will take approximately one hour to complete.

This spell should be cast outdoors. The moon phase is not a factor.
Gather seven small stones and place them in a circle. In the middle of the
circle, scatter a handful of rose petals and apple seeds.
Place the lodestone in the middle of the circle.
Say:

Draw nigh true love
So I am no longer alone
Mist of the Dragon

Draw from the Universe

The Goddess Knot Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love to your side using the age-old techniques of binding
and knotting.
What You Will Need:
Three 36” cords or strings (one in red, one in pink, and one in lilac).

Spell Instructions:
Braid the three cords or strings together.
Firmly tie a knot near one end of the braid, while thinking of your desire
for real, lasting, healthy love.
Next, tie another knot, and another, until you have tied seven knots.
Wear or carry the cord with you until you find your love.
After that, keep the cord in a safe place or give to one of the elements —
burn it and toss the ashes in a stream.

The Goddess of the Moon Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love with the help of the Moon Goddess.
What You Will Need:
A sheet of cotton paper.
One pen.
A red candle.
This spell will take approximately 12 nights to complete and must be begun
on the night of a new moon.
Spell Instructions:
On the night of a new moon, write your dream/wish for finding a new
love on the piece of paper. Light the candle and gaze into the flames as

they dance in the darkness of the room. Close your eyes and visualize your
wish for true love coming to pass. Look to the moon and request that the
Lady of the Moon grant you your wish. Thank her.
Next, take the piece of paper and burn it in/using the candle.
Repeat this for 12 nights.
If you happen to miss a night you will have to start all over — but do not
start over during a waning moon.

The Sweet Mellona Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love using the blessing of Mellona, the Goddess of
Honey, to sweeten the endeavor.
What You Will Need:
Honey.
A red or pink candle.
A small knife.
This spell will take approximately one evening to complete and must be
done on the night of a new moon.
Spell Instructions:

Carve your name in the candle with the knife. Then carve a heart around
your name. Anoint the candle with the honey. Burn this candle on the new
moon to attract a new lover.

The Celestial Spell
Goal:
To attract the perfect love for you by closing a new circle.
What You Will Need:
Two red taper candles.
One piece of cotton paper.
A red pen.
A pie plate.
A small knife.
This spell has no approximated duration but must be done on a Friday on
the night of a waxing moon.

Spell Instructions:
Write on one side of the paper "The Perfect Love For Me" with your red
pen, and on the other side, draw a semi-circle. On one of the candles
scratch in "The perfect love for me" with the knife and on the other,
scratch in your name. Place the paper in the pie plate with the semi-circle
side up.
Place the candle that has your name on it on the inside of the semi-circle,
the other one on the outside of the circle. Light the candles (you may let
some wax drip to the places where the candles are supposed to be and then
place the candles on top of the molten wax to keep them in place),
concentrating on your desire for a perfect love. Let it burn for about an
hour, then snuff them both using a snuffer or your fingers (do not blow
them out) and, on each night thereafter, walk the outer candle closer to the
center of the semi-circle, burning the candles for about an hour each night.
Once the outer candle is close to the inner one, take the same pen you used
originally and close the circle around the two in a clockwise direction.

Allow the candles to burn out. When done, burn the parchment and save
the ashes and any leftover wax in a small bag (preferably red) under your
pillow until your love arrives.

The Father Time Spell
Goal:
To bring new love to you during the natural course of a moon's cycle.
What You Will Need:
One white candle.
One candle in your favorite color.
Two candle holders.

A red alter cloth.
Red chalk.
An altar.
This spell will take approximately 15 days to complete and must be done
on the first night of a full moon.
Spell Instructions:
Cast your personal and protective circle in front of your alter and stand in
the middle. Meditate on all preconceived ideas you have about the perfect
partner. Release all notions of what your perfect lover will look like. There
are externals, and if you cling to them, you run the risk of overlooking your
ideal mate simply because your conscious mind was focused on
superficialities.
When your mind is clear and open, hold the candle of your favourite color:
this represents you.

Meditate on the flame you see while you gaze at the candle, then speak
aloud all the qualities and energies you are willing to bring to an intimate
relationship.
Replace that candle on the altar and pick up the white one. This represents
your ideal partner. Speak aloud the essential qualities you desire in a mate
and ask Aphrodite (Venus) to bring you together in this lifetime.
Place the two candles in their holders at opposite ends of the altar.
Draw a heart on the center with the red chalk, large enough for both
candleholders to fit inside.
Each day, thereafter, meditate on the perfect loving relationship for a few
minutes, and move the two candles an inch closer together.
When you start on the new moon, the candles should be touching in the
center by the full moon.
When they meet, draw two more hearts around the first heart and charge
the candles.

The Scrying Mirror Spell
Goal:
To draw a new lover to you with the help of the Goddess Venus and a
scrying mirror which you create with your own powers.
What You Will Need:
One red heart cut from cloth.
One red candle.
One Mirror.
One piece of white cloth.
Seven pins.
Venus incense.
Ylang ylang oil.

This spell will take approximately 7 days to complete and must be started
on a Friday evening.
Spell Instructions:
After a cleansing ritual and relaxing bath on a Friday evening, perfume your
body with Ylang Ylang oil.
Lay out a white cloth in the room of your choice -- your magical room --
and position yourself in front of the mirror.
Cast a protective circle, light the candle and incense, focus on your sexual
energy and chant:
“I call thee, beloved one
To love me
more than anyone.

Seven times I pierce thy heart
Today the magic of Venus starts.
I bind thy heart and soul to me;
As I do will, so let it be.”
Repeat the chant seven times, placing pins in the heart one at a time after
repeating the line: “Seven times I pierce thy heart.”
Snuff out the ceremonial candle and incense.
Leave the pins in the heart until the following night. Repeat this spell each
night for seven nights beginning at the same exact hour each night.

The Sea Garden Spell
Goal:
To draw a new lover to you with the help of the Goddess of tears, salt and
brine, and giver of life.
What You Will Need:
Sea salt.
An open fire.
This spell will take approximately three to four weeks to complete and
must be started on the first Friday evening after a new moon.
Spell Instructions:

Every Friday night, beginning on the first Friday night after a new moon
and coming to completion on a full moon Friday night, throw salt on an
open fire with your right hand while speaking these words:
“It is not salt I turn to fire,
but the heart of the man/woman I seek.
Let them have
no peace of mind
until they come to me...”
This spell must be cast three times on each occasion.
On the third occasion, the wording should be altered slightly to:
“It is not the salt
I turn to fire,
but the heart of the
man/woman I seek and desire.
He/she shall have

This ends the spell.
The person sought usually appears within a few weeks.

The Faery Dust Spell
Goal:
To draw a love of your life to you with the help of faery dust.
What You Will Need:
White clothing.
A wand or a willow branch.
Glitter.
This spell will take approximately one hour to complete and must be done
in a clear evening of a new moon when you can see the stars.
Spell Instructions:
Take a shower or bath then put on white clothing.

Take the stick or your wand and the glitter outside where you can see the
stars.
Clear your mind.
Pick up the stick, dip one end into the glitter, then raise the stick towards
your chosen star and say:
“With these magic words
I begin my spell.
Hear me now,
O mystic star,
Hear me, hear me well —
Let your magic light
Send me the love of my life.
The spell has been cast - So be it...”

Your glitter is now magically energized, and you should sprinkle some near
your front door.
You can even take some glitter out with you and sprinkle it here and there
where you walk.
Your perfect mate should be brought into your home location in a very
short period of time.

The Essene Mirror Spell
Goal:
(NOTE: For women only) — This spell attracts love within seven weeks
using the all-encompassing magical powers of mirrors.

What You Will Need:
A pink ribbon.
A mirror.
Pure honey.
A red pen.
A piece of cotton paper.
A pink candle.
Heather incense.
This spell has no approximated duration.
Spell Instructions:
Burn the sweet-smelling incense. Pass the ribbon through the smoke three
times saying:

“Ribbon, be thou
the bearer of love.
Ribbon, be thou
the bearer of happiness.”
Now put a dab of honey on the ribbon and then on your tongue.
As you taste the honey, recite:
“Honey,
bring me
the sweetness
of love.”
Repeat three times.
Now hold up the mirror and look into it.
See yourself reflected there.

Now recite this incantation three times:
“I am Goddess
and Goddess is me.
She is beautiful.
So Mote It Be.”
Now dab a bit of honey on the candle and wrap the ribbon around it.
Hold it between your hands as you say (again three times):
“From ribbon to candle
The magic shall go
From candle to astral
The flames make it so.”

Remove the ribbon and light the candle. Let the candle burn down. While
it is burning you should write down what you want in a partner on the
piece of paper. Be specific...say "likes kittens but hates frogs" if that is what
you want. Don't specify any one person because that could backfire badly.
When you have finished your list (and you can make mistakes and scratch
out or start over), fold the list three times.
Tie it up with the pink ribbon.
Snuff out the candle if it is still burning.
Put the list between your mattress and your box spring.
Each night for the next week you must look at yourself in the mirror and
repeat the mirror charm:
“I am Goddess
and Goddess is me.
She is beautiful.

At the end of the week, you can stop the mirror charm or continue it (your
choice). Your spell will bring you love before 7 weeks has passed.

The Symbolic Icon Spell
Goal:
To attract a new love to your side by sending sweet messages to God and
angels.
What You Will Need:
An altar.
A cauldron.
Two pink candles.
A magenta candle.
Dried rose, lavender and jasmine.
A simmering pot.
Your own wand.
done on the night of a waxing moon.

The cauldron should be on your altar between two pink candles. Inside the
cauldron itself place the magenta candle. Place the rose, lavender and
jasmine in a simmering pot of water, to surround yourself in the scents of
love.
Tap the cauldron four times with your wand and recite the following
incantation:
“One to seek him/her,
One to find him/her,
One to bring him/her,
One to bind him/her,
Heart to heart,
Forever one.
So say I,
This spell is done.”

Light the magenta candle to send the spell upon its way.

The True Love Prayer Spell
Goal:
To attract your soulmate.
What You Will Need:
A pink candle.
Jasmine incense.
Rosemary.

This spell will take approximately fifteen minutes to complete.
Spell Instructions:
Light the jasmine incense.
As you do so, imagine the kind of person that you want to spend the rest
of your life with.
NOTE: This should not be a specific person, but the things that you want
in a person.
Say the qualities that you want in true love out loud as you light your pink
candle.
Then say this incantation as you sprinkle rosemary over the flame:

Say this several times, with fervor, and then extinguish the candle.
Snuff out the flame.

The Sapphire Spell
Goal:
This is a great spell to help find your true love who will contemplate
marriage with you; done with the help of a sapphire, a symbol of faithful
and contented love.
What You Will Need:
A sapphire.
A cauldron.
Several handfuls of sand or dirt.
A bowl.
This spell has no approximated duration and must be done on the night of
a waxing moon.

Spell Instructions:
Wash the sapphire under running water. Get a few handfuls of dirt or sand
from your garden and place the dirt and your sapphire in the bowl. Swish
the dirt around so that you lose track or where exactly your gem or bead is
within the bowl.
Take a moment to visualize yourself feeling happy and relaxed with a
person you love deeply. With that thought in mind, sift your fingers
through the dirt, trying to sense where the gem or bead is hiding.
Use only the hand that you write with to search through the dirt, and use
your intuition to help you locate the gem or bead.
When you do find it, your spell is cast.
Carry the gem or bead with you for a full cycle of the moon = 28 days.

The Copper/Metal Spell
Goal:
The following spell is designed to help attract the most suitable person to
be your lover.
Copper is an important ingredient in love spells, as it is believed to be the
metal associated with the Goddess of Love, Venus.
What You Will Need:
A round piece of red silk about 6 inches in diameter.
Two drops of patchouli oil.
One small rose quartz crystal.
A copper coin.
4 inches of thin and flexible copper wire.

Three clear quartz crystals.

Spell Instructions:
Obtain/borrow an object from your target. A necklace or amulet is best -
