Kindergarten Lesson Plan: “How to” book

Objectives:
1. SWBAT explain what a “how to” book is
2. SWBAT tell the difference between sequencing events and “how” to books
3. SWBAT explain how “how to” books deliver information.

Lesson Outline:

What is a “how to” book?
How could we use “how to” books to help others accomplish a
task?
5 min Review Anchor Chart about “how to” books
