Research Assistant – USDA Western Human Nutrition Research Center June 2016 — Feb 2017
- Collaborated with research coordinators to organize and prepare solutions of varying concentrations of
glucose
- Processed blood from patients using a centrifuge and aliquoted the plasma into tubes after a glucose
tolerance test and fasting test
- Handled samples with a breathalyzer to record and analyze the amounts of CO2, CH4, and O2 to verify if
fermentation is occurring
