With pleasure I am writing to you to introduce myself; MI name is Alexa Beatriz Palomino Hernández and I am
currently studying the sixth semester of Bachelor of Trade and International business at the Faculty of Economics of
the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí.

Aware of how important it is to know a candidate to consider her as a potential student to participate in his programs
I expose to you the reason of this letter, quoting the motives why I seek to participate in the student exchange:

1. Why did I choose China? I believe that China not only has an important role in the world economy but is a
global economic power with enough influence and power in the economy, business and markets. China is
without hesitation the best option for me to learn from international business.
2. In addition to the above, I am studying Mandarin Chinese, by May this year, I will take the HSK 3, which is why
I also consider that accomplish the exchange would add a huge bonus to my language skills to continue
improving them so that it more profitable and I can prepare for HSK 4, learning and practicing day by day.
3. Furthermore, aside from practicing Mandarin Chinese for tasks of daily life, as well being able to improve the
level of English, as the program requested to study is in English.
4. I also think that the fact of participating in a residency abroad has a huge impact on the growth of the person
who accomplishes it, from the academic, obtaining new knowledge from a different perspective of the home-
faculty, being even bigger, since we are talking about country exchange; to the cultural, that it is completely
different to study a culture to live it, and in this way, to be able to learn and achieve a better understanding of
their way of living and customs, thus extending my vision of the world.

Because of the aforementioned, I kindly ask you to give me the opportunity to attend the seventh semester of my
career in your prestigious university, in the dates of the second semester of the year, September-January, in the
"Bachelor in International Economics & Trade" Being aware that what I’m asking for is considered a complicated
challenge starting with my first language being Spanish and that I will be more than away from my country, facing a
great challenge that will bring great satisfaction in the personal and professional fields, by getting involved in studies
of another culture.
