NOTES:
1. THIS DRAWING SHALL BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH UGC-01-GEO-SCP-1101-003 & 14. PRECISE SURFACE SETTLEMENT POINTS WILL BE INSTALLED IN HIGHWAY AND PAVEMENT AREAS IN 25. ALL EXISTING PEDESTRIAN / VEHICULAR BRIDGES (UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE) IN THE
UGC-01-GEO-SCP-1101-004. ARRAY AT 90 DEGREES TO THE TUNNEL ALIGNMENT, THESE ARRAYS WILL EXTEND TO THE OUTER MONITORING ZONE SHALL BE MONITORED WITH:
EDGES OF THE 5 MILLIMETERS PREDICTED MOVEMENT CONTOURS LINES. SUITABLE MONITORING
2. THE INSTRUMENTATION AND MONITORING REQUIREMENTS SHOWN IN THESE DRAWINGS ARE POINTS WHICH CANNOT BE READILY DISTURBED WILL BE INSTALLED OVER OPEN/PARK AREAS. THE - MOVEMENT MONITORING POINTS. TYPE OF POINTS TO BE INSTALLED ON THE STRUCTURES
MINIMUM REQUIRED. LOCATION AND TYPE OF SUCH MONITORING POINTS WILL BE AGREED WITH THE EMPLOYERS'S MUST BE ACCEPTABLE TO THE RELEVANT AUTHORITY

3. INSTRUMENTATION TO ALL ADJACENT EXISTING BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, UTILITIES, SERVICE, - TILT METERS

ACTIVITY. THE LOCATION OF THE MONITORING INSTRUMENT AND MONITORING FREQUENCY WILL 18. ALL THE DATA FROM MONITORING INSTRUMENTS SHALL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 24HOURS AND

ADDITIONALLY VIBRATION MONITORING SHALL BE CARRIED OUT DURING PILING IN ROCK AND CONFLICT WITH CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS TO SUIT ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS.
EXCAVATION IN ROCK USING MECHANICAL OR BLASTING TECHNIQUES. THE VIBRATION - MONITORING WILL BE REPEATED ON THE SAME DAY IF READINGS WERE CONSIDERED
MONITORING WILL BE CARRIED OUT WHEREVER MIXED FACE CONDITIONS ARE ENCOUNTERED. INCONSISTENT BY THE RELEVANT AUTHORITY. 31. MAINTAIN AND PROTECT NEW AND EXISTING INSTRUMENTATION, PROVIDE ALL SUCH

TUNNELS OR BASE HEAVE OR BASE BLOW OUT IS DETECTED, THE FREQUENCY OF MONITORING MANNER AS REQUIRED BY THE DESIGNER.
7. SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF DEEP LEVELING DATUM SHOULD BE INSTALLED BEFORE THE START OF WILL BE INCREASED.
ANY MONITORING WORKS. THE LOCATION OF THE DEEP LEVELING DATUM SHOULD BE OUTSIDE 32. DO NOT REMOVE, DEMOLISH, BACKFILL, COVER OR RENDER ANY INSTRUMENTATION

SHOWN BY THE MONITORING, HAVE EFFECTIVELY CEASED FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS. 33. BUILDING MONITORING POINTS SHALL BE MOUNTED AT THE EXTERNAL FACADES AND/OR
SURVEY THE DEEP LEVELING DATUM. THESE DEEP LEVELING DATUMS WILL BE MONITORED
STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS.
REGULARLY TO CHECK THEIR STABILITY.
21. THE FREQUENCY OF MONITORING FOR THE BORED TUNNELS WILL BE VARIED WITH RESPECT TO
THE LOCATION OF THE TBM. THE FOLLOWING INDICATIVE FREQUENCY REPRESENTS THE MINIMUM 34. LOCATIONS AND NUMBERS OF FULLY AUTOMATED MOTORIZED TOTAL STATIONS AND FIXED

LEVELING DATUM.

9. STRUT/GROUND ANCHOR MONITORING IS NOT SHOWN IN THESE DRAWINGS. AT LEAST 15% OF ALL - TWICE PER WEEK BETWEEN 50 TO 100 METERS BEHIND THE TBM
- WEEKLY 100M TO 300 METERS BEHIND THE TBM. 35. LOCATION OF FULLY AUTOMATED TOTAL STATIONS SHALL BE SUCH THAT THEY EITHER LIE
STRUTS AND GROUND ANCHORS WILL BE MONITORED FOR LOAD USING STRAIN GAUGES AND/OR
OUTSIDE THE INFLUENCE ZONE OF THE EXCAVATIONS OR CAN TAKE REFERENCE FROM A FIXED
LOAD CELLS. AT LEAST 25% OF THE STRUTS AND ANCHORS MONITORED USING STRAIN GAUGES
22. FOR SHAFT CONSTRUCTION, INSTRUMENTS WITHIN 25 METERS RADIUS OF THE SHAFT WILL BE BENCHMARK OUTSIDE THE INFLUENCE ZONE.
WILL ALSO BE MONITORED USING LOAD CELLS. WHERE STRAIN GAUGES ARE USED, A MINIMUM OF
MONITORED DAILY UNTIL 1 WEEK AFTER THE PERMANENT STRUCTURE IS CAST. SUBSEQUENTLY
TWO STRAIN GAUGES COUPLED WITH TEMPERATURE MONITORING WILL BE INSTALLED AT EACH
WEEKLY MONITORING WILL BE CARRIED OUT UNTIL 6 CONSECUTIVE READINGS SHOW NO CHANGE. 36. CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPLY POWER AND CONTINUOUS ELECTRICAL BACKUP FOR ALL
MONITORING LOCATION. THE STRUT AND ANCHOR MONITORING LOCATION SHOULD BE SELECTED
INSTRUMENTATION.
SO THAT:
23. WHERE THE TUNNEL WILL PASS BENEATH EXISTING STRUCTURES, THE MONITORING OF THOSE
EXISTING STRUCTURES AND THE INSTRUMENTATION IN THESE AREAS WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON A 37. CONTRACTOR TO ADJUST INSTRUMENTATION MOUNTING DEVICES TO SUIT ACTUAL FIELD
- EACH STRUT/ANCHOR LEVEL AT THE SELECTED LOCATIONS IS MONITORED, AND;

24. ALL BUILDINGS UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE IF ANY PART OF A BUILDING FALLS WITH THE 38. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE LOCATIONS OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURES PRIOR TO

- BUILDING MOVEMENT MONITORING POINTS, ONE EACH AT THE CORNERS OF THE BUILDING. TYPE
ABOVE THE UTILITY AT INTERVALS NOT MORE THAN 25 METERS.
