The failure of employing new automation system in the Corporation is the result of ineffective team (Field 2009).

1 Common purpose and goal The changing process suggested by Barbara lacks the support and agreement of other departments. Also, the Corporation has not incorporated the IT revolution with the company’s business needs, as well as its long-term objective and strategy. Therefore, there is no existence of common purpose and goal in transforming into the automation system. 2 Well defined roles of team Barbara, the only one who seems to have the overall members interest of the project, has not given enough authority to lead the project successfully. John seems to be the only supporter for Barbara, however John do not have the vision to handle the project. Harry only participates in financial controlling, he also do not give enough advice for implementing the project. 3 Effective communication Employees in the Corporation are not well communicated regarding the ongoing project. 4 Respective leader Barbara has to deal with disagreement from Tom during the changing process. 5 Small size This project affects the whole organizations, which results in unanticipated consequences. 6 Open connection and The process is lacked of support from other environment departments. Moreover, this changing in technology is considered as an isolation process of IT department. In addition, there is competition among department for IT resources. 7 Clear intra-group and Aside from Barbara and John, other employees are interpersonal accountability concerned about the effective of the IT revolution project. 8 Efficient rewarding Even in case of Barbara and John, there is either no clear rewarding if they operate the process successfully.
As being analyzed above, the project of Barbara do not have the needed attributions of a successful team, which causes many obstacles during the process.
