THESIS STATEMENT: Although school bullies and dictators may seem very different in nature, there are many
similarities between them, illustrating that school bullies are no better than dictators.

ARGUMENT 1:

SIMILARITIES: Both school bullies and dictators feel powerful and controlling.

DIFFERENCES:

 BULLIES: Pick on small, weak people, victims tend to be in a small group or a single person.
 DICTATORS: Pick on anyone, not always a specific type of person.

ARGUMENT 2:

SIMILARITIES: Both in a same way, harm their victims.

DIFFERENCES:

 BULLIES: Make victims feel insecure about themselves, like they don’t want to live anymore leading to
suicide or suicidal thoughts.
 DICTATORS: Mostly not the choice of the victim to die or to be harmed, usually a result of not obeying or
agreeing with the leader’s message or goal.

SIMILARITIES: Both bullies and dictators are guided by their desires to fulfil their own needs.

DIFFERENCES:

 BULLIES: Insecure, usually makes them feel better about themselves, actions based on emotions, not
thought through, feel confident about themselves when supported with others/friends.
 DICTATORS: Usually confident so they do it to gain power, prepare detailed plans so they know what they’re
doing when they get into that situation.
