- Apply their knowledge about temperature and insulation to create a
packing list.

Show photos all together and get the students to describe it:

Define and describe land formations:

Explain the task: draw and label what you see as you land in nova scotia
Show google earth allow students to see and view

Once students are done you could compare it to what they see in Calgary or Okotoks

If time introduce phot albums. Show one of mine give some pictures without a description.

Explain how we are going to take a picture of them posing. And then cut and paste this on the page.
They need to do one about geography.
Talk about detailed and true means related to the community for a picture.
