SEQUENCE OF BASIC JOB POTENTIAL HAZARDS RECOMMENDED ACTION OR PROCEDURE
STEPS

1.Falling from height 1. Wear safety belts at edges and building corners.
Preparing formwork
2.Falling Objects 2. To provide life lines at locations that have no areas to attach safety
3. Trip & fall belts.
3. Falling points such as corners and edges of building to be securely
barricaded.
4. Supervisor to monitor on all jobs working at height.
5. Management & safety committee members to take disciplinary
actions against employees that do not wear safety belts while
working at height.
6. Proper surface should be placed on formwork to be used as
walkways and prevent trip & fall.
7. All loose woods / materials / tools must not be kept at edges of
building where there is a risk of falling.
8. All openings or holes must be securely covered to prevent workers
from falling in.

formwork at the top to prevent any other person from being hit by
falling woods / objects.
