FUNDAMENTACIÓN

La habilidad y destreza para la comunicación únicamente se desarrollan a través de una práctica


constante y sistemática y de vivencias en ambientes naturales, y constituyen la base fundamental
para un adecuado desenvolvimiento comunicacional en otra lengua

OBJETIVO TERMINAL

La asignatura Comunicación Interpersonal está dirigida a suministrar al futuro profesional de


Idiomas las herramientas que le permitan:
 Desarrollar las habilidades y destrezas de la comunicación verbal y no verbal en el Inglés
como segunda lengua.

SINOPSIS DE CONTENIDO

Introduction to the role of verbal and nonverbal Transactions in Spontaneous Face to Face
Encounters. Role-playing. Model and Simulations.

PURPOSE

To develop the necessary skills used to communicate in English such as listening, speaking,
pronunciation, and vocabulary. Each area will be studied individually and then incorporated into
various free practice exercises

ACTIVITIES

Vocabulary: Students will be expected to memorize vocabulary before certain lessons.


Pronunciation: -i- iy hit and heat; l-r lice and rice; w- r wed and red: added (ed), moved (d),
baked (t). Listening: -examples: Telephone conversation, cassette, reading and recalling,
computer practice exercises. Communicating: - group practice, real situation, controlled and free
practice exercises. Evaluation plan: Personal interview, vocabulary quizzes, verb test, class
participation.

DESCRIPTION

Simple present General Conversation- Introducing oneself and getting to 4 hours


know someone better; How are you? What do you do?
Simple present/ Jobs, careers, things involved with work, what does a banker 4 hours
present progressive do? What is the banker doing? Focus on the difference
between more formal business talk, with practice through
some type of business conversation.
Using modals: Request and ordering, possibly practiced 4 hours
through an restaurant situation; polite vs. non-polite,
professional vs. non-professional./quiz
Present progresive/ Wishing, wanting, and hoping; dreaming vs. reality/Test 4 hours
simple future Buying and purchasing; simple purchase vs. larger more 4 hours
