CORE Class B – Winter 2017

Course Overview:

In this course we will continue your study of English and improve your speaking and listening
skills.

Course Objectives:

 Students will speak fluently and accurately for their level in authentic speaking exercises.
 Students will learn and use new vocabulary in everyday speaking activities
 Students will be able to use the present simple, present progressive, past simple, past
progressive, and future tenses accurately in spoken and written English.
 Students will practice listening and answering appropriately by keeping a weekly
listening and speaking log.
 Students will be able to set short term goals to measure their progress.

Classroom Rules:

 Speak English in the classroom


 80% attendance (8 absences)
 Be on time
 Dress Modestly
 No food. Water is OK
 No children in the classroom
 Participate and ask questions
 Bring a notebook and pen/pencil
