It gives us great pleasure to inform you that, our Institute is organizing a Sports Meet, from the 12th to
16th March, 2018. The programme timings will be 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.We intend to conduct the following
sports events:

Sports Events

1. Football, Sevens (Men)

2. Cricket (Men)
3. Badminton, Doubles (Men and Women)
4. Badminton, Singles (Men and Women)
5. Chess (Men and Women)
6. Arm Wrestling (Men)
7.

Fun Events

1. Selfie (Men and Women)

2. Photography (Men and Women)
3. Pencil Sketching (Men and Women)
4.

The tournament is being conducted to promote healthy interaction and fair competition among students of
all the branches in our colleges. It has been born out of the belief that sports is an integral part of character
development and decidedly imperative to make all-handed, socially-aware and responsible engineers.We
are looking forward to and welcome your team’s participation.

 Rules and Regulations

1. The commencement of tournament would be from 13th March 3.30 PM.

2. Last date of registration through registration form is 12th of March, 2018. Please confirm your
participation by this date.
3. The team must bring a letter of authorization signed by the Head of the Branch, mentioning names
of the participants.
4. Every member of the contingent must bring his/her College ID card. Failing these, he/she, will not
be allowed to take part in the tournament.
5. All teams are required to bring their own kits/accessories.
6. Students in the college are grouped according their year of study/ branch/ by houses, Each contingent
should have a group leader (Student Leader/Captain) in-charge.
7. Any breach of discipline will result in cancellation of participation from the event and immediate
expulsion from the contingent.
8. Federafion sports rules will be followed in the Games/Sports. In case of any dispute, the decision of
the event co-ordinator will be final and binding.
9. Participants are kindly requested to bring along the necessary clothing / jersey in view of event.
10. Only Students from Al-Azhar College of Engineering & Technology are permitted to participate in
the events.
11. For Fun events theme of event should be given.
12. Maximum number of playes allowed in criket are limited to 13 playes including substitutes.
13. Maximum number of playes allowed in football are limited to 9 playes including substitutes.
