Sleep is part of human life which affect learning, academic achievement,as well as

physical and mental health. (Zita Arieselia1.2014). Every individual's sleep needs vary
depending on the age of each individual, and each individual must meet need sleep to run
activity well. Bad sleep patterns can result in disruption balance of physiology and psychology.
Physiological effects include decreased activity daily, fatigue, weakness, decreased power
resistant body and instability signs vital. (Potter & Perry , 2010 dalam jaka syafrianda,2015).
Lack of sleep adversely affects the brain when it needs it to perform high tasks (think). Some of
the brain will work excessively when a person is sleep deprived, usually only one is still active
from all areas of the brain. (Elisabet boru saragih:2016).

Various factors can affect the quality of sleep in students. The factors are fatigue,
psychological stress, diet / nutrition, environment, motivation, and caffeine. Students with sleep
disorder at night will feel tired and feel sleepy during the day, causing no concentration in
learning. (Elisabet boru saragih:2016). Results of research on relationships quality of sleep and
quantity of sleep with student achievement, it is known that the respondents have good sleep
quality only 32 (17,8%) people and students who have poor sleep quality as much as 162
(82,2%). For quantity of sleep is obtained amount students who have sufficient quantity of sleep
and less sleep quantity almost the same is 95 (48.2%) people for a sufficient quantity of sleep
and 102 (51.8%) of people who have a quantity sleep less. (Jaka Sarfriyanda:2015). From the
results of the study There is a significant relationship between the duration of night sleep and the
value of the Mid Block Reproduction exam in the class of 2010 students. (Zita Arieselia1.2014)
