Dear Sir,

With humble submission I, Suvranil Banerjee, son of Dilip Kumar Banerjee, residing at 1693,
Prantik, Ichapore, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Pin- 743144, like to inform you that my
previous employer, Watertech Engineers Pvt. Ltd., didn’t issue my due appointment letter in
spite of their commitment in the offer letter that the same will be provided within 15 days of
joining. In addition to that they have not paid me the salary of August, 2016. You are
requested to go through the following points provided chronologically of the official
communications between me and that company regarding this matter.

1. I applied for a suitable professional opportunity on 09-03-2016 by sending my resume


(through email and its document attached herewith).
2. I was called for an interview and after my selection their Human Resource executive
asked for my academic and testimonials after my interview through email dated 22-03-
2016 (document attached herewith) for official verification.
3. They send me an offer letter (attached herewith) on 29-03-2016 dated 28-03-2016 and
number W/OL-3625/HRA/16. In the offer letter it was mentioned that my designation in
this company will be Deputy General Manager – Project and Marketing. They also
committed in the offer letter dated 28-03-2016 to issue me the appointment letter and
employment contract within/after 15 days of joining.
4. I accepted their offer through my email dated 29-03-2016 (document attached herewith).
5. I joined them on 1st April, 2016 as Deputy General Manager – Project and Marketing.
6. During salary negotiation we are agreed to following salary agreement verbally and they
verbally confirmed that the same will be included in my appointment letter:
7. Till July, 2016 they didn’t issue my appointment letter without any valid documented
official clarification and explanation to me. I have requested them for the same through
two email dated 26-05-2016 and 16-06-2016 to the Human Resource executive. But she
didn’t revert back and stood silent.
8. In the end of July, 2016 I was in the door step of a work order from Himadri Chemicals
and Industries Ltd. and as per the performance bonus contract they if that was worked out
they have to pay me the performance bonus ( either Rs. 1,20,000 or 15% of the order
value whichever is higher).
9. To avoid this payment and deprive me from my due payment they started displaying
dissatisfaction about my professional performance (there was no prior intimation or e-
mail from their end about their dissatisfaction about my professional performance) and
telephonically humiliated me and ordered me to not to attend the office in spite of my
repeated appeal to them that the order will get finalized within a required time frame, but
they denied to believe. Under absolute humiliation and under the threat of personal
defamation and loss of moral dignity, I decided to not to visit their office again and
telephonically communicated the same to them (as they were also communicating only by
phone). Then they designed a story about my attendance shortage and absconding from
the office ( they never intimated me officially prior to that about my lack of attendance
during the month of April to July, 2016) and manufactured a show-cause notice with the
support of this story just with the intention to justify their decision of not paying my due
salary of July, 2016 (payable in the 1st week of August,2016) and to collect their official
assets ( laptop, mobile phone and internet data card ) from me. They have send me a
show-cause notice dated 08-08-2016 (document attached herewith) pointing out with
false allegation about my attendance shortage, out-duty activities and business
development performance through an email dated 08-08-2016.
10. I responded them through sequence of email exchange on the dates of 09-08-2016 , 11-
08,2016 (two emails from me for two different email communication they have started),
13-08-2016 and 29-10-2016 (two emails from me for two different email communication
they have started again) and in this communication they have reverted me on dates of 11-
08-2016 with attached document dated 10-08-2016 & Number W/HR/4462/16 , 26-09-
2016 with attached document dated 23-09-2016 & Number W/SUVRANIL/CW-4576/16
(all email communication documents attached herewith)
11. Through this communication, I stated that I shall handover their official assets with me
when my due remunerations will be paid to me through bank account transfer.
12. My due remuneration mainly include the salary of August, 2016. I am ready to sacrifice
my performance bonus as they still hasn’t receive the work-order from Himadri
Chemicals and Industries Ltd. (though if I was continuing in my role and the management
of my employer , Watertech Engineers Pvt. Ltd. permitted me to continue my
employment through an official document with due appreciation for my business
development performance)

Hence my specific appeal to you kindly extend justice by providing me my due appointment
letter and final settlement (disbursement of my last month, August-2016 salary and handing
over of their official assets like laptop, Tata Photon Internet Data Card, Company Mobile
Phone, Attendance Punch Card) in a dignified way.

I shall remain ever grateful to you if you kindly take action to provide me my due payment
and final settlement.
