Re: Opening Memo for 2018

This memo is to welcome you to the start of another season at Port Wedeln and to advise you of two
important opening dates.

First, the Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday morning, June 30, 2018, at the Wolfeboro Public
Library at 9:00am. (Coffee, 9:00am – 9:30am; Start of meeting at 9:30am). It is critical that Members
attend the meeting either in person or by submitting their proxy to the Board or another Member who
will attend the meeting. We must have a quorum (in person or by proxy) at these meetings in order to
approve the budget and do other business associated with the success of our organization.

For those who cannot attend, we have attached two types of proxy voting forms at the end of this
memo: (Proxy Form A) to email the proxy back electronically (e.g., via email), or (Proxy Form B) to mail
or have your proxy hand deliver a hard copy of the proxy. You may designate as your proxy either a
Member of the Association in good standing or a Board member. Please note that (1) proxies must be
received no later than the start of the meeting on June 30, 2018 to be valid for the meeting, and (2) all
dues and assessments must be paid in order to vote at the Annual Meeting, whether in person or by
proxy.

The second important date relates to new business for the Annual Meeting.
Please remember to submit in writing to the Board thirty (30) days in advance of the meeting any new
business you want discussed at the meeting to the above address or by email to
crawson.pwa@gmail.com. Submissions should be sent no later than May 31, 2018.

Also, don’t forget the need to comply with both the State of New Hampshire and Port Wedeln
Association regulations and procedures before taking your golf-carts on the roads within the
Association. Information is posted on our website as noted below.
