Co-Curricular Plan Narrative

Overall, I am very excited for the rest of my college career, both in academics and co-

curriculars. Specifically, in my co-curriculars, I am excited for what I have joined this year and

continuing these in the future. My goal coming into college was to incorporate my strengths and

interests together. I wanted to join clubs and organizations that mixed my business strengths and

interests with other interests in my life. The Christian Business Leaders club is a perfect example

of this. My Christian belief is the most important thing in my life while business is what I will be

doing for the rest of my life in work. Mixing these two important aspects of my life are essential

for me. Through this club, I hope to climb up the ranks, because of how important the idea of it

is to me. I applied for the VP of Finance for next year and hope I can obtain that position for the

next couple of years. This role will also include another interest of mine- budgeting and financial

planning. By the end of my college career, I hope to be the president of the Christian Business

Leaders.

I plan on playing intramural basketball every year and possibly more intramural sports.

This would fulfill my interests of playing sports while also giving me some extra exercise. I am

currently a mentor in College Mentors for Kids. In this organization, elementary students from

an underprivileged school come to UC every Tuesday to participate in different activities that

promotes secondary education and college. I have always been interested in working with kids. I

discovered this when I worked as a student assistant and an after-school daycare program back in

my hometown. I also hope to climb up the ranks of this club by using by business skills. I hope

to be a director of fundraising then eventually the VP of fundraising using my financial and

personal skills. I am currently a candidate for Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting business fraternity. I

hope to use my financial interests to help this fraternity and climb the ranks to become VP of

Finance. Lastly, I have recently accepted a position for Great American Insurance’s accounting

rotational program where I will have up to five different co-op rotations where I will learn many

different sectors of the accounting field. In conclusion, I hope to use my financial skills to gain

leadership roles in several clubs that I am passionate for and make those better financially suited.
