So, for 10 cum RCC =10?2.5%=0.25 cum steel. =1962.5kgm. Steel. [I know 1 cum
steel=7850 kgm]
For, 1 cum RCC =1962.5/10=196.25 kgm. Steel.
So, we are using 196.25 kg steel for 1 cum.RCC work in column & beam.

For RCC Beam & Column need 2-3% steel, say 2.5% steel.
So, for 10 cum RCC =10?2.5%=0.25 cum steel. =1962.5kgm. Steel. [I know 1 cum
steel=7850 kgm]
For, 1 cum RCC =1962.5/10=196.25 kgm. Steel.

we use 2.5% of steel for column and beam.so for 10 cum of concrete = .025 x 10

When steel quantity is 2.5% for R.C.C. beam and column, we know 1M3 steel=7850 kgs
For 10 m3 RCC work for column & beam then we can get the steel quantity is 1962.5
kgs.

It vary but it should always not be less than 100kg/m3, general practices range
from 120-125kg/m3 for slab, beams and for soil in pour, massive structures, columns
and RC walls it should be 150kg/m3. Remember those are minimum/threshold values, in
practice one has to be suspicious with RC details once he/she get values less than
above and he/she may consult designer for confirmation.

It can vary for person to person as its depends on the design of the particular
structure which taking account of other parameters , so this is just the thumb rule
under normal circumstances, as in some project the loading of steel in a roof is
100Kg even goes up to 120kgs
