The KSM 412 seismic detector offers reliable and timely protection against attempted burglaries.
As a sensitive «ear on the wall» it is extremely precise in signaling attacks on the outer shell
protecting valuables.

Selective hearing – repelling attempts at burglary

The KSM 412 seismic detector’s crystal microphone picks up the slightest structure-borne vibrations.
The sensitive device detects typical break-in noises such as drilling noise, sound waves from oxygen
torches or detonations, lightning fast and dependably – and reliably reports them to the intrusion
control panel.
The inner workings of the KSM 412 ensure maximum protection against false alarms.
The high-tech noise analysis system can be adapted to conditions on the ground with extreme
precision.
Innocuous vibrations are simply ignored.

A piezoelectric ceramic sensor converts the vibrations
into electrical signals. A processor evaluates these
signals according to a typical frequency range and
activates a burglary alarm. The connection to the
piezoelectric sensor is monitored. Hammer blows with
corresponding pauses are detected by means of a
counter.

Internal sound generator for KSM 412 (metallic surfaces)
PSG 43/1 217875
The test transmitter is equipped with a piezoelectric crystal
(sound generator) and connected to the KSM by means of
a screened cable. An appropriately dimensioned, circular
break-out disc in the KSM base ensures that the test
sound can be emitted and received only via the test
medium.
- PSG 43/1 is equipped with a magnet for mounting on
steel.

Water resistant outlet for KSM
SSG 42 202835
The SSG 42 consists of a grey die cast aluminum housing
and is electrically heated by 2 resistors connected in
series. The electrical heating is permanently switched on
(no thermostat). The KSM 412 is installed on site in the
SSG 42. The SSG 42 always has a separate cable
connection to a heating transformer. A tamper switch is
built in and is connected in series to the sabotage switch of
the KSM.
