The frequent question that I come

that property market will always rely

The Roskill War Memorial Hall
O
f lately, the Roskill War Memorial Hall has acquired an image,
especially in the minds of Kiwi-Indian community, of being
exclusively an Indian community hall, where different Indian social-
cultural groups regularly turn up to organise their respective religious-cultural
festivals.
It will not be an exaggeration to state that Indian community in Auckland
has a special affinity for this place and most of the times it is their first port of
call for hosting their social events.

Mt Roskill War Memorial

I
f there is one place that reflects everything for which Mt
Roskill is renowned then it would easily be Mt Roskill War
Memorial.
From enlisting the names of our ANZAC soldiers which
defines and accentuate our ANZAC identity, to harbouring one
of the biggest park which hosts Auckland’s biggest International
cultural festival every year, thus accurately reflecting the
changing face of New Zealand, this is a thriving place.

Bhartiya Samaj Centre

J
ust around the vicinity of Mt Roskill War memorial, there stands a
seemingly modest building housing office of a non-profit organisation
called Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust – a community organisation
that undertakes various programs and activities for overall well-being of the
community, especially the seniors.
