Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, George
Washington Carver, and Eleanor Roosevelt.
1.3 The student will discuss the lives of people associated with
Presidents’ Day, Columbus Day, and the events of
Independence Day (Fourth of July).

Activity In this activity, students will create “flash-cards” using Classmint.

The students will input the questions and answers into the template
provided, and then study the flashcards for any upcoming
evaluations. Teachers can help prepare their children for using this
technology by having them first write down what they want to put
on their flashcards. Students will be working by themselves for this
activity..

 Directions for Use 1. Click on Safari to open the internet.
2. Click on the search bar, and type in www.classmint.com
3. Sign in! Enter username and password.
4. Click “New Note” at the top of the page.
5. Click “Questions or Keyword” and enter the question.
6. Click the box to the right of “Questions or Keyword” that
says “Answer or Notes…” and enter your answer to the
question.
7. Repeat step 3 and 4 until you’ve written down all of your
Questions and answers.
8. Click the box to the right of “Summary” and give a small
summary of what the flashcards are about!
