I will use this video with the class by helping students to memorize the alphabet in
Spanish. To begin with, students should review the alphabet in Spanish before the lecture. At
the
beginning
of
the
lecture,
I
will
ask
students
to
recall
what
they
remember
from
their
alphabet
review
at
home
and
help
them
remember
if
they
seem
to
be
having
trouble
remembering. After the recall process, I will show them the video of the alphabet being recited
correctly which, also includes some essentials that will be needed to learn the pronunciation of
specific words. I will then have students recall, pronounce, and compare and contrast the
Spanish alphabet to the English alphabet to enforce the memorization of the alphabet.

I will use this video as a source of culture and Spanish number memorization. Besides
number memorization, it includes specific graphics that depict the Dia de los Muertos
traditions. Vocabulary that is used during the Dia de los Muertos, such as different food dishes,
is also used. The lyrics to the song incorporate rhyme and rhythm that can be utilized as a
mnemonic device in the aid of learning Spanish vocabulary. With this video shown to the class,
short group presentations can be made to incorporate the same ideas of having varying music,
