I am reaching out to you regarding your advertisement on sittercity.com. On the website, you requested
for a full time, enthusiastic and responsible babysitter for the upcoming summer holiday. I am replying to
your advertisement in hopes of obtaining the position.

I am currently a grade 9 student at Handsworth Secondary School. I am qualified to babysit, as I have

completed my Red Cross babysitting course, along with other first aid courses, such as bronze cross and
bronze medallion. I also have two younger sisters that I care for after school daily. In addition, I plan to
pursue a career involving kids in the future in the field of education. I have completed over 100 hours of
babysitting for community families along with The Early Bird Montessori Dayhome with kids ages 2-7
years old.. I have also worked with kids as a junior coach for the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club.

My personal interest include volleyball, field hockey, piano and I also work as an umpire for the West
Vancouver Field Hockey Club during the spring. I love getting to know the kids I babysit and coach, as
well as their families. I always look forward to meeting new families in the community!

I believe that I am very well suited for this job. I am available all summer to look after your 3 year old
