Jesus Christ IS God!

Introduction

I have been meaning to produce a study-booklet proving that Jesus Christ IS God for
some time now: reason being, because the Lord Jesus Christ’s Deity is under
immense attack in these last days before He returns. This booklet is written with
those of you in mind who need a clear concise study to give to the cults (Jehovah’s
Witnesses’ et al.) and false religions (Islam et al.) It has been produced at COST so
that you can purchase in quantity for distribution. I would suggest posting one to
EVERY house in the surrounding areas of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Halls,
Christadelphian Halls and Mormon ‘tabernacles’, warning the people about the
teachings of these CULTS! Let us take a stand against these FALSE ‘prophets’ in these
last days… 2 Tim 3v1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

I also believe the information in this study-booklet will give you enough material to
convince these ‘gainsayers’ - Titus 1v9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath
been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince
the gainsayers.

If you love the word of God you will find this study a blessing, make sure you check
every reference in your own Bible, and if you have a wide-margin Authorized Version,
I would suggest making some notes!!! (If you don’t have a wide-margin AV Bible I
would highly recommend purchasing one.)

Paul warns us about those who do not teach and preach sound doctrine… 1 Tim 6v3-
5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the
words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words,
whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of
corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from
such withdraw thyself.

Those of you who are involved with reaching the lost souls of this world with the
Gospel, already know that there are some people who just will not accept THE
TRUTH no matter how many times you show/prove to them from Scripture; Paul’s
warning to Titus should be taken into consideration when dealing with ‘time-
wasters’… Titus 3v10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second
admonition reject;

Once you have read this booklet, pass it on! Too many Christians do NOT stand their
ground in the fight, and very few are active in reaching lost souls and encouraging
the saints; apathy is a disease that is spreading like wildfire throughout the church
today. What we learn, we should pass on to others… 2 Tim 2v2 And the things that
thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful
men, who shall be able to teach others also. Acts 20v20 And how I kept back
nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you
publickly, and from house to house…

We are living in the last days preceding the Lord’s return (The Rapture!) One of the
greatest ‘signs-of-the-times’ is apostasy in the church. Many Christians are departing
from the faith… 1 Tim 4v1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times
some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils; 2 Tim 4v3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears; Deception is rampant today and as Christians we are told to …earnestly
contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1v3

So what follows is a sound defence for the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ…

No matter what you have been told, taught or read, know this - Jesus Christ IS God!

Whoever tells you He ISN’T, is either deceived or a LIAR, it’s as simple as that!

Now that includes ALL the cults (Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW’s), Mormons,
Christadelphians, Seventh Day Adventists, Unitarians, United Pentecostals (Jesus
‘ONLY’ cult who deny the Trinity), Christian Scientists, ‘Scientologists’ etc.) and ALL
the False Religions (Roman Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, etc.); it even
includes the Jews!
In order to teach that Jesus Christ is not God, the cults and false religions (as above)
either add, subtract or distort i.e. ‘change’ the true word of God, The Authorized
Version Bible (which is perfectly preserved, INERRANT!) They will even try to
confuse you by running back to ‘THE Greek’ (there isn’t ‘ONE’) rather than believing
what the Scriptures say for themselves! Do NOT be fooled by these charlatans!

Now this study-booklet is straight-down-the-line and is totally upfront and honest!

We will NOT distort the Scriptures or change them to teach or say something they
don’t, unlike ALL the above!

What follows, is a study proving that Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but that
He IS God!

1 John 5v7

First of all, let us look at a verse in the Bible that nearly every cult will remove or
distort (check it out for yourself)… it is also known as the ‘Johannine Comma’ (if you
would like a study of why it SHOULD BE IN the Bible, drop me a line!)

1 John 5v7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word,
and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

This causes a great problem for the cults and false religions that want to teach that
Jesus is not equal with the Father and that He is not God. Phil 2v5-11 Let this mind
be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it
not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took
upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being
found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father. What the cults have to do is CHANGE the word of God to teach a LIE!
JW’s do this all the time with their corrupt ‘New World Translation bible!’ (The JW’s
have written their own ‘bible’ based upon corrupt manuscripts (Westcott and Hort’s
Greek Text) i.e. Codex B-Vaticanus and Codex Aleph-Sinaiticus – these manuscripts
disagree with each other over 3,000 times in just the Gospels alone; how about that
for accuracy!!!) The Mormons have to ADD a whole new book to the Scriptures to
teach their own ERRORS i.e. the book of Mormon.

1 John 5v7 categorically states that the Father, the Word (which is Jesus Christ) and
the Holy Ghost are ONE! That is what it SAYS without any interpretation or opinion,
THE THREE ARE ONE! No wonder the cults change or remove this verse from their
man-made-bibles!

 I and My Father are One

The Jews in Christ’s day went to stone the Lord Jesus Christ because He claimed to be
God in the flesh…

John 10v30-33 I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to
stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my
Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying,
For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou,
being a man, makest thyself God.

The Jews understood who Jesus ‘claimed’ to be, hence why they wanted to stone
Him!

So just by these few Scriptures, already we can see that God is three separate
persons, Father, Son (i.e. the Word – note capital ‘W’) and Holy Spirit, yet there is
ONE GOD! Nobody can fully understand it but the Bible declares this to be the case!

It is also very interesting that the word ‘Godhead’ appears just THREE times in
Scripture…

1) Acts 17v29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not
to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by
art and man's device.
2) Rom 1v20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
3) Col 2v9 For in him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead
bodily.

It is also very interesting that the words Almighty God appear THREE times in
Scripture!

1) Gen 17v1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD
appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk
before me, and be thou perfect.
2) Eze 10v5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the
outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

 3) Rev 19v15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he
should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he
treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

God’s fingerprints are often seen in ‘threes’… There is something special about the
number THREE!

In the RESURRECTION of the Lord Jesus Christ, He was RAISED on the THIRD day (Mat
12v38-40) by the DIVINE THREE in the GODHEAD - God the Father RAISED Him (Gal
1v1), Jesus RAISED Himself (John 2v19-21), and the Holy Spirit RAISED Him (Rom
8v11) (Ask a JW to explain that one and watch him run for cover!!!)

The number THREE also shows… THE IMPRINT OF THE GODHEAD IN THE
UNIVERSE!

The significance of ‘THREE’…

So getting back to our study proving from the word of God, the Scriptures, that Jesus
Christ IS God…

John 1v1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
John 1v14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
So WHO is ‘the Word?’ ‘The Word’ (note the capital ‘W’) is Jesus Christ – Jesus Christ
IS God!

1 John 1v1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,
of the Word of life; The ‘Word’ IS Jesus Christ!

Rev 19v11-13 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat
upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and
make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns;
and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed
with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. The Word
IS Jesus Christ!

1 Tim 3v16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was
manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the
Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. God here IS Jesus Christ!

Crystal clear - Jesus Christ IS God!

But what do the cults and false religions do with the above Scriptures? Peter tells
us… 2 Pet 3v16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which
are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and
unstable (ALL the cults and false religions!) wrest, as they do also the other

scriptures, unto their own destruction. They wrest (distort) the Scriptures to their
own destruction! Regarding adding, subtracting or distorting the word of God you
ought to look up the following Scriptures… Deut 4v2, Prov 30v5+6, Ecc 3v14, Rev
22v18+19. We do NOT change the Scriptures; the Scriptures SHOULD change us!

All we have done so far is looked at Scripture, comparing ‘spiritual’ with ‘spiritual’ (1
Cor 2v13-16). Notice we haven’t changed one single word of the ‘word of God’;
notice too, that we haven’t run to any Greek or Hebrew text to try to prove anything!
(Do YOU speak Greek or Hebrew?) Next time someone says to you “Well in the
Greek!” Ask him if he SPEAKS Greek? Cults run to ‘the Greek’ to confuse their listener
– DON’T be fooled by them! God has given us a PERFECT Bible in ENGLISH! English is
the most commonly spoken language in all the world and God preserved His word
perfect for us today in this most common language! The Authorized Version Bible is
100% ‘absolutely’ PERFECT and PURE; ALL other versions have ERRORS in them,
beware of that fact!

Jesus IS Jehovah God

The JW cult insist that ‘LORD’ (note all capitals) refers to Jehovah God the Father,
while ‘Lord’ refers to the Son (a lesser ‘god’), but the truth of the matter is that the
Lord Jesus Christ was often referred to in the Old Testament (OT) as Jehovah God
Himself! For example, look at the following verses…

Zech 12v7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the
house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify
themselves against Judah.
v8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is
feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as
God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
v9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations
that come against Jerusalem.
v10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me
whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his
only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his
firstborn.
Now how about that, Jehovah God saying that they shall look upon ME whom they
have pierced (crucified). Jesus Christ IS Jehovah God! Rev 1v5 And from Jesus
Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the

prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our
sins in his own blood,
v6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and
dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
v7 Behold, he (Jesus) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, Amen.

Isa 44v6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of
hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Note the
‘LORD’ for the Father and the ‘LORD’ for the Son – BOTH are God! Both are the First
and the Last!

Rev 1v17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand
upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
v18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death. (This is Jesus Christ talking i.e. ‘the First and
the Last!’) God the Father wasn’t crucified, God the Son was! God the Father didn’t
die, Jesus Christ DIED - I am the first and the last - I am he that liveth, and was dead!

Just by comparing Scripture with Scripture you can see clearly that Jesus Christ IS
‘Jehovah’ GOD.

Let us look at a few comparisons…

God the Father God the Son

Isa 8v13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts 1 Pet 2v8 And a stone of stumbling, and a
himself; and let him be your fear, and rock of offence, even to them which
let him be your dread. stumble at the word, being disobedient:
v14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but whereunto also they were appointed.
for a stone of stumbling and for a rock
of offence to both the houses of Israel,
for a gin and for a snare to the
inhabitants of Jerusalem.
v15 And many among them shall
stumble, and fall, and be broken, and Rom 9v33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in
be snared, and be taken. Sion a stumblingstone and rock of
offence: and whosoever believeth on
Isa 28v16 Therefore thus saith the Lord him shall not be ashamed.
GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a
foundation a stone, a tried stone, a
precious corner stone, a sure 1 Cor 10v4 And did all drink the same
foundation: he that believeth shall not spiritual drink: for they drank of that
make haste. spiritual Rock that followed them: and
that Rock was Christ.
Deut 32v3 Because I will publish the
name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness
unto our God.
v4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment: a God of
truth and without iniquity, just and
right is he.
How clear can you get? The ‘LORD’ God is also Jesus Christ!
GOD the ‘Rock’ is also Jesus Christ, who IS Jehovah GOD!

My Lord and my God!

In John 20v24-28 we read… But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not
with them when Jesus came.
v25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said
unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger
into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

v26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:
then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be
unto you.
v27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and
reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
v28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Why?
Because Jesus Christ IS God! Now don’t you think that if Jesus Christ WASN’T God He
would have straightened poor old Thomas out immediately? Sure He would have,
just like the angels did when someone bowed down to them… But Jesus didn’t,
because He was God in the flesh!

A ‘child’ is BORN but a ‘son’ is GIVEN

NOTE - The son was NOT ‘born’ because the Son of God is from everlasting –
WHY?
Because GOD is from EVERLASTING; He has NO beginning!
The Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ was ‘called’ Divine names in prophecy e.g. Isa 9v6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be
upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty
God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Now only the Lord God Jehovah
Himself could satisfy the requirement of these names. ‘The everlasting Father’ – the
Son was called that! That was NOT His name, but that is what He was ‘called’ – His
name was Jesus Christ! ‘The mighty God’ – the One prophesied to be the Messiah
was to be God Himself; God of very God… the mighty God!
Micah 5v2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the
thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he (Jesus Christ) come forth unto me that
is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Human beings DON’T come from ‘everlasting’ - God does! The JW’s and such like,
want Jesus Christ to have a beginning so they can say that He is NOT God, hence they
corrupt the Bible again to teach their FALSE doctrine! Jesus Christ is eternal and has
no beginning! He came to take the body that was prepared for Him - Heb 10v5
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou
wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: (Note how the NIV PER-version
‘bible’ has changed this text to ‘ancient’ times; the NIV is based upon the same
manuscripts as the JW’s ‘bible!’ If you would like details about counterfeit ‘bibles’
like the NIV, NKJV, RSV, ASV, NASV, ESV etc. drop me a line!) John 6v62 What and if
ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? BEFORE??? Yes, Jesus
was with the Father BEFORE He came to earth! He is from everlasting!

 Who is the I AM?
Both God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ are called ‘I AM’ - Exo 3v14 And God
said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the
children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Yet in John 8v58 we read… Jesus
said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Note
again the Jews wanted to stone Jesus for they realised that He equated Himself with
God! Note also that Jesus didn’t say ‘Before Abraham was I ‘WAS’, He said I AM i.e.
He claimed an eternal presence! How could Jesus Christ say that He was the ‘I
AM’…? …because He IS the ‘I AM’ – Jesus Christ IS God!

Now here is an interesting piece of information regarding the italicized words in the
Authorized Version Bible… The italicized words in the King James Bible are words
that were added by the translators (under the guidance of God of course!) to help the
reader. This is necessary when translating from one language to another because
word meanings and idioms change (idiom = A mode of expression peculiar to a language;
peculiarity of expression or phraseology). So, to produce a more readable translation, the
King James translators (1604-1611) added certain words to the Bible text. However,
to make sure that everyone understood that these words were not in the available
manuscripts they set them in italics. (J.Melton)

On the whole, you CANNOT translate ‘word-for-word’ from one language to another
WITHOUT adding or subtracting WORDS! The AV shows you ALL the added words
that were not in the ‘originals’. Do the NKJV, or NIV or NWT (JW ‘bible’) do that?
NO! They are dishonest ‘bibles!’ You can’t tell WHAT was in the original and what
WASN’T!

The Authorized Version Bible is the ONLY Bible to do this and shows the honesty and
integrity of the translation. (Check out your own Bible!) Now look at the following
Scriptures from the Book of John and what Jesus says about HIMSELF… NOTE the ‘he’
in italics (i.e. NOT in the originals!!!)

John 8v24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe
not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
John 8v28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then
shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath
taught me, I speak these things.
John 9v9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.
John 13v19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may
believe that I am he.

John 18v5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
John 18v6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward,
and fell to the ground.
John 18v8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let
these go their way:

Therefore Jesus is claiming the ‘I AM’ title of God, why? Because Jesus Christ IS God
according to Scripture!

For all of you who enjoy ‘Biblical-numerics’ note also the term ‘I AM he’ occurs
SEVEN times (i.e. perfection/completion.)

The AV Bible is an incredible book, there is none like it!

Jesus Christ claimed things for Himself that no man could claim unless He was
claiming to be God! He didn’t claim to be ‘a’ truth, He claimed to be ‘THE’ truth; He
didn’t claim to be ‘a’ way, He claimed to be ‘THE’ way – now that’s quite a statement
to make! That means according to Jesus Christ Himself, there is NO OTHER WAY!
Therefore Roman Catholicism, Islam or any of the cults CANNOT SAVE YOU, ONLY
Jesus Christ can! Think about that long and hard, for if you do not come THROUGH
Christ, you will land up in Hell, no matter what ‘other way’ you have taken! It’s a
narrow road folks; make sure you are on it! Mat 7v13 Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many
there be which go in thereat:
v14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and
few there be that find it.
v15 Beware of false prophets, (JW’s, Mormons etc.) which come to you in sheep's
clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

 ONLY God is the FIRST and the LAST, the BEGINNING and the END,
the ALPHA and the OMEGA!

Isa 44v6 Thus saith the LORD the King of
Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of
hosts; I am the first, and I am the last;
and beside me there is no God.
Isa 48v12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and
Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I
also am the last.
(Read in from Rev 1v5-7!!!) Rev 1v8 I am
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and
the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and
which was, and which is to come, the
Almighty. (Jesus)
Rev 1v11 Saying, I am (Jesus) Alpha and
Omega, the first and the last…
Rev 1v17 And when I saw him, (Jesus) I
fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his
right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 2v8 And unto the angel of the
church in Smyrna write; These things
saith the first and the last, which was
dead, and is alive; (Jesus)
Rev 22v13 I am (Jesus) Alpha and
Omega, the beginning and the end, the
first and the last.

WORSHIP ONLY GOD!

Exo 34v14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is
Jealous, is a jealous God: Yet we read in Heb 1v6 And again, when he bringeth in
the firstbegotten (Jesus) into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God
worship him. (Jesus)

Luke 4v8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it
is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

We are told in the Scriptures to worship ONLY God! When men bowed down and

God. (Yet we have just read in Exo 34v14 that the angels worship Him! (Jesus Christ))
Rev 19v10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it
not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:
worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

But when they worshipped Jesus Christ, He let them! Why? Because He (Jesus
Christ) IS God!

Mat 2v11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with
Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened
their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Not once in Scripture are you told to worship Mary!

hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Did Jesus
rebuke them???

Galilee, and there shall they see me. He let them worship Him!

Mark 5v6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

Luke 24v52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

John 9v38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Rev 5v11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the

Not once in Scripture do we find the Lord Jesus Christ refusing worship,
yet we are told ONLY to worship God, hence Jesus Christ IS God!

 WHO CAN FORGIVE SINS BUT GOD!
Mark 2v5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy
sins be forgiven thee.

But I thought ONLY God could forgive sins? EXACTLY! Jesus Christ IS God!

What did they say when they heard Jesus say ‘thy sins be forgiven thee?’… Mark 2v7
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
They knew ONLY God could forgive sins, yet Jesus Christ did! Why? Have a guess!
Because Jesus Christ IS God!

have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: Jesus
Christ IS God! The Bible clearly teaches that, cults and false religions DON’T!

THE way, THE truth, THE life, OR, you are going to put your faith and trust in

Organisation is set up to deceive as many people as possible. It has broken up homes
and marriages and wants to control your mind; YOUR LIFE! If you’re IN IT – GET OUT
OF IT!!! You will ONLY find liberty and peace in Jesus Christ alone… Luke 4v18 The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to
the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, (are YOU a captive in a cult?) and recovering of sight to the blind, (ALL
cults/false religions have blinded their followers) to set at liberty them that are

Name or ‘names’?

Mat 28v19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: If Jesus Christ wasn’t God why
did He include Himself in the Holy Trinity? John 10v30 I and my Father are one.

So just by comparing Scripture with Scripture and leaving it in its context i.e. NOT
changing it at all, it is an ABSOLUTE FACT that the Bible declares that Jesus Christ IS
God! If the cults say he isn’t, they MUST distort/pervert/corrupt the word of God,
which they do all the time; 2 Cor 2v17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the
word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in
Christ. ALL the cults and false religions corrupt the word of God!

I have heard people say, “Well I can’t understand the Trinity”, yet no-one can fully
understand the Trinity; in fact, how can you understand God as a ‘unity’ – YOU
CAN’T! i.e. Eph 1v20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the
dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
v21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

we can get to know Him; yet today, most people do NOT read or study the Holy

every other Bible version.) Somebody (Satan) doesn’t want you to STUDY the Bible,
hence we have an influx of modern ‘bible’ PER-versions flooding the market every
year; these Satanic ‘bible’ PER-versions include the NIV, (look up in the NIV who killed
Goliath in 2 Sam 21v19 then check it out in the AV!) NASB, NKJV, GNB, ESV, RSV, ASV,
etc.
Who created man?
Gen 1v26 And God said, Let us (The Trinity i.e. Father, Son and Holy Spirit) make
man in our (The Trinity) image, after our (The Trinity) likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,
and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Now the JW’s will tell you that the ‘us’ and ‘our’ of this verse is talking about the
angels, but that shows you how immature these cults are when it comes to
interpreting the Scriptures; the JW’s will twist and distort any Scripture that doesn’t
fit in with their man-made doctrines! Let us see what image we are created after,
see the next verse v27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them (NOT in the image of angels!)
…Gen 5v1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created
man, in the likeness of God made he him;

Gen 3v22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, (The

Another ludicrous statement I have heard is that the doctrine of The Trinity is Roman
Catholic! I guess it was one of the cults that started this rumour! The doctrine of The
Trinity (i.e. ONE God yet THREE separate ‘persons’ God the Father, God the Son and

anything to get you away from THE TRUTH! Note this verse - Dan 10v21 But I will

with, THE TRUTH of Scripture, not some ‘Watchtower Organisation’ dreaming up
fairy-tales to tell their boys and girls who can’t read the King’s English (KING James
that is!!! KJV.)

If Christ isn’t God it would be idolatry to address Him in prayer along

with God the Father!
Yet that is exactly what Paul does, addresses the Lord Jesus Christ… Now our Lord
Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given
us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and
stablish you in every good word and work. 2 Thes 2v16+17
And what about Stephen in his prayer addressing God… And they stoned Stephen,
calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down,
and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had
said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7v59+60 Stephen called upon ‘God’ and said ‘Lord
Jesus!’ Why? Because Jesus Christ IS God!

It is ONLY God who truly hears and answers our prayers!

Read Paul’s following account; he besought the Lord (God) three times and receives
an answer from WHOM? (Jesus Christ) 2 Cor 12v7 And lest I should be exalted
above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a
thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted
above measure.
v8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
v9 And he said (Jesus) unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Jesus answers Paul’s prayer because Jesus IS God! It is ONLY God who hears and
answers our prayers, that is why we pray to the Lord Jesus Christ – 1 Cor 1v2 Unto
the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus,
called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ
our Lord, both theirs and ours: Rom 10v13 For whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved. Praying to saints (as the Roman Catholics do) or
‘elephants’ (as the Hindus do) or to Allah (as Muslims do) does NO GOOD
whatsoever! There is ONE true God (yet three separate persons i.e. Father, Son and
Holy Spirit) – see the table 1 on The Trinity.

The Bible says that …at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in
heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phil 2v10 Note EVERY
KNEE! That includes every false ‘god’ of every cult and religion, including the Devil
himself – they will ALL bow the knee to GOD the Son!
Rev 5v12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb (The Lord Jesus Christ – God
the Son) that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and
honour, and glory, and blessing.

The issues of LIFE and DEATH are with God alone!

Jesus Christ assumes Divine Authority over DEATH! He said to the widows son… Luke
7v14 And he (Jesus) came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still.
And he (Jesus) said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
v15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his
mother.
Jesus said to DEAD Lazarus… John 11v43 And when he (Jesus) thus had spoken, he

v44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and

WHY? Because Jesus Christ IS Jehovah God!

Only God is unchangeable!

So in conclusion…
You either believe the Bible or you don’t; you can’t just choose what bits you agree
with and leave the rest. The cults like the JW’s will change everything and anything
to suit the teachings of their false organisation: they have written their own
CORRUPT translation called the ‘New World Translation’ based upon the most

Don’t let the cults and false religions deceive you any longer, turn to the Lord Jesus
Christ with all your heart and ask Him to save you before it’s too late!

You have enough ‘ammunition’ in this booklet to deal with every single cult and false

I would also suggest, that you do some research into Bible versions, as cults, false
religions and also some weak and shallow Christians think that the NIV, NKJV, NASB,
