Conjugation

There are 3 ways to conjugate verbs:

1-Affirmative: Consists of unifying a subject pronoun and a verb but it is important to take into
consideration the changes a verb undergoes when conjugated with he, she & it. There are some rules:
A-If the verb ends in Y and there is a consonant before Y, we switch Y for ies. Example:

I study I pity I deny

You You You
He He He
She studies She pities She denies
It It It
We We We
You study You pity You deny
They They They

*Note: If there is a vowel before Y, we just add S.

I play I convey I enjoy
You You You
He He He
She plays She conveys She enjoys
It It It
We We We
You play You convey You enjoy
They They They

B- If the verb ends in Ch, S, Sh, O, X & Z, we add es:

I catch I miss I fix

You You You
He He He
She catches She misses She fixes
It It It
We We We
You catch You miss You fix
They They They

C- In other cases, we just add s:

I walk I look I read

You You You
He He He
She walks She looks She reads
It It It
We We We
You walk You You
They They look They read
2-Negative: Consists of placing don’t & doesn’t between the subject pronoun and the verb.

I don’t read I don’t miss I don’t fix

You You You
He He He
She doesn’t read She doesn’t miss She doesn’t fix
It It It
We We We
You don’t read You don’t miss You don’t fix
They They They

3-interrogative: Consists of placing Do & Does in front of the subject pronoun.

Do I Do I Do I
you you you
he he he
Does she read? Does she miss? Does she fix?
it it it
