1 Is general presentation and orientation correct? 2 NOTES :MATERIAL GRADES , SBC, COVER, SAFETY/STABILITY. 3 Are title, scales, drawing numbers correct? Are revision letters correct and their location 4 shown? 5 Are sufficient sections and details given? Basement walls/Core wall to slab connection-slab bars not to 6 be anchored into wall. 7 Openings set out confirmed with GA and trimmers scheduled 8 Is spelling correct? Do number, sizes and reinforcement agree with 9 the relevant calculations/rebar markups and final BBS Has cross-referencing to other drawings and bar 10 and fabric schedules been provided? 11 Where applicable is ‘No. off members’ correct? 12 Are all projections reinforced? 13 Is the cover specified and correct? Are splices and laps in correct position - as per standard 14 curtailment rules Do splices suit construction joints if proivded by 15 client/contractor? Is there congestion of reinforcement? Clear bar spacing less 16 than 75 mm?? 17 Are large-scale details required? Shear link for flat slabs required ??Check drop size/set out with 18 design engineer 19 Are cranks required where bars cross? Is spacing of reinforcement correct both on plan 20 and section? Where required are the spacers and chairs shown/ 21 specified? For deep basement rafts and transfer slabs - check with client if in doubt Ensure that no bars /links /U or L s are sticking out of concrete 22 outline Retaining walls - check that main vertical r/f is on external face 23 and is shown correctly as in NF1/FF1Legend. Column/Wall elevation across stories -check if there is chagne 24 in cross section/alignment At top storey -column/wall bars are properly anchored into 25 slab without any congestion Wall/Column bars are scheduled under different members for 26 each view and each level.
