will read about the Trench Zone- Same book: Life in the Ocean

Giovanni remembered in detail information that we had read last session. He is very enthusiastic
about this topic.

Giovanni’s fluency has improved tremendously. He is reading through words and not leaving off
endings. He is also self correcting his pace and getting his tone ready to end a sentence.

Information in this text was in disagreement from the information in the fluency passage. Giovanni
noticed that while this text mentioned 4 ocean zones, the fluency passage tells us that there are 3.
Another disagreement was that the book mentions a fish called rattail in the last zone and the fluency
passage calls it ratfish. Giovanni pointed these disagreements out. He wrote these down in his
notebook for further research.
