Internet:
The Internet is a world wide network that includes a vast collection of information
and resources available through the computer.
The Internet has been described as "a large network of linked networks" or as a
"network of networks". Both descriptions are relatively accurate, in some ways, but
are insufficient to show exactly what the Internet really is.
For a particular scientific community, the Internet could be described as an essential
and indispensable research tool. The Internet can get access to the world's most
advanced research facilities. There you can discuss the research and the needs of
everyone, with other people working on the same issues for the same purposes. It
can have access to advanced computing facilities, so supercomputers are at the
disposal of scientists and researchers.
Finally, for industry and commerce managers, the Internet could be the means of
accessing a similar community that can directly do business or exchange information,
which can have a direct impact on future marketing products and plans.
In all of these descriptions a repeating theme is observed - the Internet community
and the tool that is the Internet. These two terms are best suited to describe what
the Internet represents. It is a new way of seeing a vast and widely dispersed
community with many members.
Each member can seek to achieve different goals by different means, using the tools
provided by the Internet to facilitate their development.

What is the internet?

The Internet is the global system o interconnected mainframe, persona and wireless
computer networks that use Internet protocol suite to link billion of devices
worldwide. The Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and
services such as the inter-linked hypertext documents and applications of the World
wide Web (www) electronic mail, newsgroups, telephony, and peer-to- peer
networks for file sharing.
What does the internet offer?
He has many possibilities, but these are not all:
a) Telecommunication networks offer users services that we can classify in the
following categories:
b) File Transfer - allows you to copy information from one machine to another, using
the network as a transmission carrier.
c) File Sharing - allows you to use a file stored on a remote machine. Access to
shared files is transparent.
d) Electronic messaging - is a mail system much faster than mail. Electronic messages
can also include multimedia items.
e) Terminal Emulation - allows connection to a remote computer as a terminal of
that computer.
f) Access to information - allows access to different databases. It is generally coupled
with an indexing and search system that accelerates the retrieval of information.
g) Printing - allows you to print a document remotely by sharing printers.
h) Remote Command Execution - Allows you to use a program to execute remote
machine commands.
i) Management - is used by network administrators.

In conclusion, the Internet is, on the one hand, a human achievement and a
significant contribution to simplifying the daily lives of all societies, since we all need
and depend on information in a shorter time. Paradoxically, however, there are also
the negative effects that the Internet has brought with it, with no laws regulating
and verifying the information on the Internet, thus protecting manipulation, scams,
but also other crimes, the effect it has on young people, dependency, etc. All these
pluses and minuses must be constantly balanced and it is everyone's duty to
contribute to balancing this balance to build and develop a better world both
technologically and spiritually.
