Responsibilities:
 Maintenance of the internal expenditures control system which ensures that vouchers processed are
matched and completed; transactions are correctly recorded and posted in the books.
 Management of the property management system, through ensuring rent collected is receipted and
remittance to landlords executed in a timely and appropriate manner.
 Managing a full spectrum of financial and cost accounting roles. Maintenance of Accounts Receivables,
Accounts Payables and General Ledger, Accounts duly reconciled at all times, in order to ensure timely
closing of accounts.
 Ensuring that all the bank accounts are duly reconciled for all day to day transactions.
 Management of company budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controlling the company forecasts.
 Responsible for the timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments and cash flow
management reporting.
 Responsible for statutory compliance by ensuring timely preparation and submission of all statutory
reports to the concerned authorities in order to avoid late submission penalties.
 Maintaining the internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the company.
 Daily, weekly& monthly updating of tenants accounts and reconciliation of M-pesa Pay bill, cash and
Bank transactions.
 Coordinating the conduct of year-end audits by the company’s external auditors.
 Daily invoicing of customers and preparation of monthly customer statements.
 Payroll processing, petty cash processing, oversight and approvals.
