*Letter writing-Letter writing is an essential an essential
skill. Despite the prevalence of emails and text messages ,
everyone has to write at some point. Letters of complaint,
job applicants, thank you letters requesting changes or
making suggestions.
We all need to know about letter writing,
How to write a letter, Education, English language .
For example- Features of formal letter, Features of semi
formal letter, features of an informal letter.

E-mail- Email is a method of exchanging massage


between people using electronic devices. Email first
entered substantial use in the 1960s and by the mid-
1970s had taken in the form now recognized as email.

*Letter-Letter writing by itself an art it is also a


social and business asset. The ability to write a good
letter and perfect letter can be ability to talk well and
ability to excellent inter-personal relation relationship in
business effective communication through letter save
much time.
A letter is written massage sent by one person
to another person. In other words a
letter is piece of conversation by post. So when we
transfer any written massage through mail. It can be
termed as letter.

*What is letter?
A letter is a massage that is written down
or printed on paper a usually put in an envelope and send
to somebody. Its my openion a letter is a written massage
printed and hand written that is sent to someone by
other through post or mail or in some other way.

Email is short for “electronic mails “ similar as to letter, It


is sent via internet to a recipient. An email address
require to receive email, and that address is unique to
the user. Some people use internet based on applications
and use programs on their computer to access and store
emails.

they go online and collect their email.

email, so that more information can be seared.

*Formal letter- The letter which is written according to
the formal rules and regulations of an organization is
called formal letter. These types of letter always maintain
the formalities of the office strictly institutional and

*INFORMAL LETTER:-The letter which does not follow
any formal rule and contents personal information is
known as informal or personal letter.This type of letter is
written to relatives and friends for exchanging news for
fillings.The basis of writing personal letter is personal
relationship.

*BUSINESS LETTER:-The letter which is contents


commercial information and is written among business
people is called business letter or commercial
letter.Business letters are formal and non
personal.Commercial letter contents information relating
to trade enquiry, order, complaint, claims, adjustments,
collection, relating to trade enquiry.

*OFFICIAL LETTER:-When letter is written containing the


official information like rules, regulations, facts and
figures is called official letter.In other word when a letter
is written following the official decorum. it is known as
official letter.Official letter use this type of letter to send
official message to other branch.

*SOCIAL LETTER:-Letter that is on any social occasion is
called social letter.Innovation letters for different
programmes, thanks letter, congratulation letter.Fall in
the category of social letter is one kind of personal letter.

*REPORT LETTER:-Letter that is preferd in the form of


report and is sent to the person, who has assigned it, is
called report letter.In real sense it is a sort report in the
form of letter. That letter sent to the salesmanager by the
salesman on everydays sales volume in an example of
report letter.

*NOTICE LETTER:-A notice letter is a letter that is sent to


a person notifying or informing him about any special
topic.

letter
*Email means Electronic mail
Letter means something written on paper

*Email is faster and more reliable than letter

*You can send any emails free of cost whereas in letter


you have to give money every time you post it

*Email never get lost until and unless you delete it by


yourself whereas letter can be lost or damage

*You can attach the photo as well as documents which


cannot be done in letter

* A letter is something you write by hand or on the


computer which you print off

*Letters are posted,emails are send over the internet


*Emails are more reliable,letters could always get lost
