Doña Lupita era una mujer trabajadora y con muy buena sazón, todas las tardes salía a vender
Tripa Mishqui en el mercado de San Roque.
Doña Lupita tenía una hija muy inquieta y juguetona llamada María Angula…

Un buen día de ventas Doña Lupita se quedó sin tripas para la venta así que mando a María Angula
a que le dé comprando.

- María, María vente para acá hijita,

- Dime mami…
- Anda a comprar tripas, pero rapidito, unas dos libras ha de ser, no te quedaras jugando
por ahí, ¿oíste?
- Si mamita voy rapidito y vengo.

Al estar llegando al mercado, María Angula se encontró con sus amigos y se pusieron a jugar un
largo rato a las canicas.

- Hola María Angula, ven a jugar canicas con nosotros

- No puedo debo comprar tripas para mi madre
- Vamos a jugar, apura, no tardaremos mucho
- Si, ven a jugar
- Bueno, pero sólo un rato.

Mientras jugaba compro golosinas con el dinero que su mamá le mando para las tripas.

- María Angula, ¿tienes dinero para ir a comprar golosinas?, tenemos mucha hambre
- Si, pero este dinero es para comprar el mandado de mi madre
- No creo que te diga nada por gastarte el dinero una sola vez
- Esta bien vamos a la tienda
- Buenas tardes vecina
- Buenas tardes niños que desean
- Véndame una funda de caramelos por favor
- Tengan niños, disfrútenla

María Angula al terminar de comer las golosinas se despidió de sus amigos.

- Bueno amigos ya me tengo que ir. Adiós

- Chao

María Angula preocupada porque su madre le reclamaría por lo que hizo tuvo una macabra idea.
Vio que enterraban a un señor en el cementerio de San Diego; así que se escabullo entre los
nichos, y cuando todos se fueron le saco las tripas y las puso en una funda y salió corriendo del
lugar.

Las tripas Mishqui se vendieron muy bien aquella tarde.

Ya por la noche María Angula mientras pensaba en lo que había hecho, empezó a escuchar:

- María Angula devuelve me mis tripas, María Angula devuelve me mis tripas

María Angula desesperada por que esas voces le dejaran de atormentar, se levantó de su cama, y
con un cuchillo muy afilado se rebano la barriga y se sacó las tripas.

Entonces aquellas voces dejaron de molestarla.
