Criteria for Listening/Speaking Activity

Title of Activity: Using flash card

Purpose: - To provide controlled practice where pupils are focusing


on producing the correct grammatical form and
pronunciation.

Grade \ level Grade 4

Context: Speaking (blli bone)

Integration with Speaking integrating with reading

Students will:
Instructions: 1. Read the name on the flash card.
2. Make a sentence where is the bone in their body.
3. Take to their friend and ask them about the bones place.
Justification:
This speaking activity is suitable for grade four, it develops their speaking and
reading skills. The children in this activity will read the bone name from the flash
card and speak about the bone in front of the class to identify why we have these
bones in our body. This activity is also can improve student's skills in writing; we
can use the same activity to make the children write about the bones (their
names and their function). All the skills will get improved through one activity. At
the end of this activity, students will feel confident while they speak about their
body parts and specially the bones that they have I the flash cards and read
loudly in front of their classmates.
