Readers are stepping into characters’ shoes and paying attention to how they act and speak. Readers flagged pages where their character showed strong feelings. Another day they flagged pages that showed a change in their feelings, thinking, or acting. Writing: Writers revisit mentor authors to prepare their books for celebration. Writers shared their final copy with their classmates. Math: Color, Shape, and Number Patterns Mathematicians identified the unit of a repeating pattern. They also created and extended patterns.
