Professional Goals

Clinical Practice Goals

1. Short-Term (present-2 years): Increase my specialty-specific knowledge and skills. As I

will be starting my career on the Mother-Baby unit at TMC, this goal is important in

order for me to provide safe care for my patients.

2. Long-Term (3-5 years): Achieve my NCC certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing

(RNC-MNN). This will help further my knowledge and professional growth in this

specialty.

Continuing Education Goal

1. Take continuing education courses in my specialty to advance my knowledge. I am

especially interested in education regarding lactation.
