OS GÉMEOS
PRA QUEM MORA LÁ, O CÉU É LÁ
Study Visit -11º 5ª

…Face to face with OS GEMEOS we find ourselves in a dream world,

sometimes night, sometimes day, which is lit not by light but by
colour…
The painted doors of these houses are metaphors of the different
passages into the imagination… Eric Corne / exhibition curator

The guided tour has given you some insight into the work of OS GEMEOS. At the same time
it has provided you with some important tools to understand life in the city and reflect
about the world you live in. Now take some time on your own –circa 30 minutes - to do the
following:

1. Wander around and take a closer look at some of the details of the murals.

2. Pick one you particularly like.

3. Take a photo and sketch/draw it.

4. Describe it in terms of colour, shape, materials used, composition and/or other

elements you find important.

5. In which ways does your imagination flow? (I hope it does!)

6. What ‘realities’ does it suggest to you?

7. In which ways does the technique used by the artists create an impact on you?

8. Write your overall impression. Some of you will be presenting

your work to the class next
lesson. You may be the one.
Bring your photo/sketch. Be
