Que 1: How Graphics is applied in Beam method?

Ans: The beam method is the part of the CRT. It means the CRT is based on the
CRT. Cathode ray tube is used in the computer moniter and the television. the
graphic is used to display image on screen. The cathode ray tube is the tube that is
used to show picture on screen. It contains the electronic gun. In this the beam is
also used to show the picture. A fiber optics plate is positioned along the sidewall
of the envelope and the beam is swept in a liner scan of the fiber optics plate by an
array of electromagnets. Sensors are provided for measuring the flux distribution
for monitoring the properties of the electron beam. so we can say theat the beam
method is used in the CRT and the CRT is used to show the images. So graphics is
applied in beam method.

Que2:Why LCD are more preferred in laptop as compare to TFT’s?

Ans:

The TFT is used to improve the quality of the picture. The quality of the picture
may related to contrast etc. A thin film transistor comprises a semiconductor layer,
a gate insulating layer and a gate electrodeThe liquid crystal display (LCD) is a
very thin screen.it is used for displaying the pictures or other information. We use
the LCD in the computer, televisions. And in the other way we can use LCD.
Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) are used to in flat-panel monitors and high-end
flat-panel television. Because of these difference we we use the LCD in laptop.the
tft is not used in the laptop.

Question 3: How resolution are differ from raster and random scan?

Answer:

Raster-scan system:-
In the raster scan the display have less resolution.a variety of raster standards have
been developed,originally for television broadcasting and latterly for
computer terminal. In raster scan the beam is deflected repetitively over
the
exposure field, as in a television raster.

According to me the aster scan is the way to show the images in this way. The
electronic beam sweeps the screen line by line and from left to right.

In the raster scan the display have less resolution.the memory cost is low in this
system.

random scan:

The random scan in the CRT is work on the screen.and do its work in one time. It
do not sweep the screen.and it do its work only on that area where the image is to
be drawn. It only scan the part of the screen where the picture is drawn.

Que4. Discuss the advantages o the shadow mask method:

Ans. The majority of colour TV sets and computer moniters use the shadow mask
colour CRT.

Just behind the phosphor-coated screen is the shadow mask,a metal plate with
small holes arrangesed in a specific pattern. It uses three electron guns for the
red,green and blue comonenets of the loght output. The guns also arranged in a
triangular fashion.
Advantages:

• Use only three colour.

• shadow mask monitors are prone to colour purity problems

• have made mass production of CRT's possible.

Que 5. Define the printer.

Ans. Printer is the device that is used to print the information on the paper. The
printer plugged in the USB of the computer and the the click is done on the print
button.then we can get the print out from the device.

In other words to get the hard copy of the softcopy the printer is used. You can
print images, documents, cards, etc. .In computing, a printer is a peripheral which
produces a hard copy.

The types of printer are:

The characterstics of printer is:

• Use graphic

• Speed

• Produce hard copy

QUE 6. Define the CRT with diagram.

Ans. A cathode ray tube in which a beam of electrons can be focused toa a small
area and aried in position. CRT is used to display the images and vidos. The most
familiar and the most common form of the cathode ray tube is the television
picture tube found in home television receivers. The picture tube is the most
valuable component of a television receiver consisting about 50% of the total
value. Direct view television use the one cathode ray tube,either color or
monochrome.

Cathode ray tube are used in large quantities in measuring instruments such as
oscilloscopes,ehich are used in the maintenance and repair of automobiles.CRT’s
are also output devices for radar system used by civil agencies and military
services to track the movement of the aircraft or watercraft.

The basic element of the CRT are envelope, electronic gun and phosphor screen.
The envelope , typically made of glass serves as a vacuum enclosure substrate for
the phosphor screen, and support for the electronic gun. The envelope is typically
funnel shaped , eith a small and blocked by a glass stem that support the electronic
gun.
