 Assisted several projects and assignments in class with
various students.
 Interacted students before and after classes during the
term.
 Tutored students outside of class, correcting grammatical
structures, giving feedback about aspects of signs.

2006- ASL Teacher, Lane Community College:

 Developed a curriculum and unit plans for two 10-week
classes, level one and level two, using the Master ASL!
Textbook and the Bravo video series.
 Implemented weekly homework, quizzes, activities and
projects.
 Planned various cultural experiences, and field trips to gain
more real-world exposure and vocabulary.

Professional Experience

August 2016 American Sign Language Crew Leader, Northwest Youth


Corps, Lake Wenatchee, WA.

 Worked with a crew of 12 young adults and two other crew


leaders for five weeks in three places.
 Taught and modeled hard work, cutting wood, uprooting
weeds, clearing a path for hikers.
 Learned how to use tools safely and effectively and showed
the crew how to work quickly and smoothly.

2006-2016 After-School/Summer Camp Recreation Leader, KidCity,


Sheldon Community Center, OR.

 Assisted kids with their homework, art projects, and


quarrels if needed.
 Planned activities for small groups and set up rules for
games so that they are safe and having fun.

 Walked with groups and pairs of children from school to
centers, ensuring their safe passage and transitioning from
school to the center.

2011-2013 Cabin Leader, Camp Taloali, Stayton, OR.

 Managed a group of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing


twelve boys for several weeks, making sure they follow the
schedule and activities daily.
 Made sure that my cabin was tidy and orderly each night.
 Maintained a positive vibe so that people around me were
full of energy and happy about camp.

2010-2012 Videographer/Editor, Deaf Video Communications, Carol


Stream, IL.

 Organized a project for my boss that spanned two weeks,


with multiple sources of media.
 Diagnosed several media issues, which were causing issues
with the end product, and solved the issues in a timely
manner.
 Assembled a DVD with two songs and a DVD menu to my
boss’s satisfaction so that the DVD could be shipped to
clients.
