order.
Duties: Line committee will check stores purchased/ received from local market / registered
firms / ordinance depot/ by railway receipt and other units up to the book value of Rs. 1000
and above.

Generally budget is not allotted till the month of May. Then an order is conveyed that 1/6 of

The Finance Ministry places before the Parliament under Article 112(1) of the Constitution an
Annual Financial Statement giving the estimated receipts and expenditure of the Central
Government for the ensuing financial year. This statement is also called “Budget”, is
presented usually on the last working day of February. The statement not only includes the
estimated receipts and expenditure for the ensuing financial year but also contains revised
provisions for the current year besides actual for the previous three years.
