Title: Introduce What Influences me? Lesson #: 1 of 25

Lesson Idea/Topic and Students will define influence and reflect on what influences them in order
Rationale/Relevance: to jump into the unit. The class will develop a definition, but the students
will take it or leave it as they reflect on outer influences. This will serve as a
pre-reflection that will compare to their final reflection.

Student Profile: Elective course, so most students chose to be in it.

Class of 23

Mostly identified as white, middle-class
