Facilitate graduate level finance, accounting, and statistics courses and lead a team of faculty
members on how to enhance the student experience. Ensure those students are obtaining not only
seminal financial theory but also contemporary practical exposure so that they are equipped to

Accounting & Compliance Manager – Finance
This position was responsible for coordinating and supervising the accounting and financial
activities of the finance department to ensure accurate and effective accounting operations. This
included motivating and managing the departmental staff and giving general direction to the
department on specific issues/problems as well as assisting in reviewing and reconciling
employee problems, assigning, reviewing and planning the work of the department, maintaining
departmental standards, allocating personnel, selecting new employees and making
recommendations regarding employee discipline as required. Responsibilities included writing
internal control guidance as well as conducting compliance reviews of all departments within the
County that included County Council members’ financial records when utilizing County funds.
The position regularly advised other County Departments and Agencies within the County on
required financial policies, practices and procedures. This position regularly interacted with
state/federal agencies and attends council/budget meetings as required.
Facilitated associate’s level finance classes. Discussed and explored various corporate finance
