1 ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY
Economic analysis is most frequently used for evaluation of the effectiveness
of thesystem. More commonly knows as cost/benefit analysis the procedure is
to determine the benefit and saving that are expected from a system and
compare them with costs, decisions ismade to design and implement the
system. This part of feasibility study gives the top management the economic
justification for the new system. This is an important input to the management
the management, because veryoften the top management does not like to get
confounded by the various technicalities that bound to be associated with a
project of this kind. A simple economic analysis that gives theactual
comparison of costs and benefits is much more meaningful in such cases. It is
economically feasible, it will only require a single operator to operate the
system, who isresponsible for entering the data into the database via a user
interface provided to him, whocan also able to show all the data in html
tabular form so to provide information regarding thestudents who are either
taken admission or to take admission, since it requires only a single person to
operate the whole system thus reduces the cost to operate the system.

In the system, the organization is most satisfied by economic

feasibility.Because, if the organization implements this system, it need not
require anyadditional hardware resourcesas well as it will be saving lot of
time.

3.2 TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY

Technical feasibility centers on the existing manual system of the
testmanagement processand to what extent it can support the
system.According to feasibility analysis procedure thetechnical feasibility of
thesystem is analyzed and the technical requirements such as
softwarefacilities, procedure, inputs are identified. It is also one of the
important phases of thesystemdevelopment activities. It is technically feasible,
since the whole system is designed into thelatest technologies like PHP and
SQL Server which are the most recent technologies todevelop web based
systems and design databases. The system offers greater levels of user
friendliness combined with greaterprocessingspeed. Therefore, the cost of
maintenance can be reduced. Since, processing speed is very high and the
work is reduced in the maintenance point of view management convince that
the project is operationally feasible.

3.3 OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY

It is Operational feasible, since the system is providing a attractive user
interface totheoperator/end user, so he feel very easy to work onto it.
Response to operator/end user isvery fast and very good.Since, as we
mentioned above that it requires much less amount of cost, it uses computer
work so it is very fast to operate and it is very easy for user to work onit.

4.1 OBJECTIVE OF SRS

The objective of this SRS document is to specify software requirements of the

OnlineAdmission for the college. It is intended to be a complete specification
of what functionalitythe admission provides. The main purpose of the system
is to automate the task carried out bydifferent peoples in the organization to
perform the student admission. Specific design andimplementation details will
be specified in a future document.

4.2 OVERVIEW OF SRS

SRS will include two sections.Overall Description will describe major

components of the system, interconnection andexternal interfaces.Specific
Requirements will describe the functions of actors, their role in the systemand
constraints.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

The SRS document will give further details on the overall product
description, including the hardware, software, and communications interfaces,
product functions, user characteristics, and any assumptions that will be
made.

4.3 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The SRS document will also include the specific requirements needed. These
willinclude the functions, performance, design, and software attributes. This
document isorganized in a logical manner and is easy to follow. Readers
should refer to the table of contents, appendices, or index if looking for
something in specific. Otherwise, reading thisdocument from start to finish will
start with a vague description and get more specific anddetailed as changing
sections and reading further

5. TECHNOLOGY AND LITERATURE REVIEW

In developing the Job portal website, we have used ASP.NET 2008. In

which C# is used for server side coding. SQL Server is used for as the
database. In which .Net framework 3.5 is included. Here are the some
features of Asp.Net 3.5 and C# 2.0.

Asp.Net 3.5 and C# 2.0

ASP.NET is a unified Web development model that includes the

services necessary for you to build enterprise-class Web applications
with a minimum of coding. ASP.NET is part of the .NET Framework,
and when coding ASP.NET applications you have access to classes in
the .NET Framework. You can code your applications in any language
compatible with the common language runtime (CLR), including
Microsoft Visual Basic, C#, JScript .NET, and J#. These languages
enable you to develop ASP.NET applications that benefit from the
common language runtime, type safety, inheritance, and so on.
ASP.NET includes:
 A page and controls framework
 The ASP.NET compiler
 Security infrastructure
 State-management facilities
 Application configuration
 Health monitoring and performance features
 Debugging support
 An XML Web services framework
 Extensible hosting environment and application life cycle
management
 An extensible designer environment

5. ASP.NET

ASP.NET provides a unified Web development model that includes the

services necessary for you to build enterprise-class Web applications. ASP.NET
is part of the .NET Framework and enables you to take full advantage of the
features of the common language runtime, such as type safety, inheritance,
language interoperability, and versioning.

The topics in this section provide you with conceptual information about
how ASP.NET works and procedural topics that show you how to write code
that takes advantage of the power of ASP.NET to create dynamic Web
applications.
