SMMMS FABRIC
Outer Layer
This high tech fabric comprises of a total of five
layers in which three middle layers are melt blown
fabrics and two external covers on either side are
spun bonded fabrics. The combination results in
Meltblown high tensile strength, superior filtration and
Middle Layers extreme pliability resulting in comfort and ease of
movement. SMMMS is ideal for OR gowns and
drapes and for use as sterilization wraps. The

Outer Layer when it comes to isolating dust particles, alcohol,
blood, bacteria and viruses.

DUAL LAMINATE FABRIC Blood

Dual Laminate Fabric is produced by using Highly Absorbent

Layer
polyethene film bonded to a layer of highly
absorbent dry laid non-woven fabric. It has superior
stregnth and is ideal for use as drapes and for
reinforcement zones. It is also recommended for
use as covers for expensive medical equipments.

Trilaminate fabric is composed of a top layer of
drylaid non-woven highly absorbent fabric, a
polyethene film middle layer and a bottom layer of
spunbonded polypropylene delivering flexibility,
strength and protection as barrier against

MICROCARE BVB FABRIC Blood

Repellent Layer
Microcare BVB is a high tech fabric comprising of a thin
microporous breathable monolithic membrane sandwiched
between two soft fabric layers. The outer layer is liquid
repellant while the inner layer is soft and pliable. It has high
vapour permeability while blocking liquids besides offering
maximum protection against transmission of viruses and Breathable
bacteria.The drapes offers extreme comfort during extended Film

surgical procedures. BVB is recommended especially for use

infected patients and is the perfect barrier against
transmission of HIV, H1N1 and Avian Influennza viruses.
Surgical Gown
Our surgical gowns are known for their excellent properties of flexibility, comfort and safety.
Keeping in mind varied requirements of surgeons we offer surgical gowns in three different styles
and various sizes, using a combination of various fabrics, each with distinctive properties as
regards end use, protection and comfort.

We do not skimp on use of materials and in each size, the proportions of chest, shoulder, arms and
waist are given generous allowances to allow comfort, freedom of movement and good fit. Each
gown has a velcro neck closure for easy adjustment to any neck size while offering total seal
against fluid splashes at the front due to gapless construction.

The outstanding protective feature of our surgical gowns is that all seams are ultrasonically
welded for absolute protection and strength. Another feature is the use of low lint materials to
reduce risk of contaminating open wounds or the atmosphere in the operation room. A third
feature is that we use materials with inherent low flammability characteristics conforming to
CPSC16CF part 1610 standards.

Surgical gowns carrying our brand conform to AAMI and EN13795 standards for surgical gowns.
 BOND
This type of surgical gown is made of four layer
fabric for maximum protection against ingress of
bacteria, virus and fluids. The outermost layers

Extreme comfort, breathability, AAMI Level 2
protection with single layer and AAMI Level 3
protection with PE enforced fabrics are features
of this superior gown that allows ease of use,
comfort and full protection.

LYRA
This gown uses advanced composite technology
fabric in the construction made up of polyester
and polythene both of which contribute to
extreme comfort and high strength. With a soft,
silk y texture and high pliability, lyra is
comfortable to wear during extended surgical
procedures and the smooth surface prevents it
from being caught in any gap or obstruction.
Single layer gowns exceed Level 3 protection
under AAMI norms.

MICROCARE

microporous breathable layer encased between

permeability while serving as a barrier against
liquids, bacteria and viruses like HIV, SARS, Avian
and Spine flu. Microcare gowns offer AAMI Level
4 protection. These gowns are available in four
different types.

STANDARD SPECIALITY
Our surgical drapes are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards on modern
equipments. They meet or exceed expectations as regards permeability and protection against
transmission of pathogen besides possessing excellent adhesion, strength and comfort giving
properties.

DESIGN
We follow recommended guidelines of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses
(AORN) in the design, folding and packing of each set. Each pack has a label with full set of
instructions for use including the right aseptic and fast removal, use and disposal. These drapes
are elegantly and ergonomically designed to cover persons from one fingertip to the other and to
operate as a wider anesthesia screen.
REINFORCEMENT
Exceeding ASTMF 1671 specs, the design and construction incorporates fenestrations and splits
in each drape surround areas of impervious reinforcement made with highly absorbent fabric to
absorb blood and body fluids while the plastic backing prevents further transmission.
CONTAINMENT OF FLUIDS
Select designs carry inbuilt pouches that will collect blood and fluids draining from the body and
reduce risk of contamination, spread and exposure to OR personnel. These pouches also make it
conducive to clean up and dispose off such fluids.
ADHESIVE
Meticulous to the last detail we ensure use of skin-friendly adhesive tapes to keep drapes fitted in
place without affecting the barrier. We include incise as routine in C-section drapes, carniotomy
drapes and open heart drapes.
TUBE & LINE HOLDERS
Each drape includes velcro tube and line holders to keep them in place and distanced from
fenestration.

from trilaminate, spunlace and SMMS fabric, each made to the highest standards of protection,
comfort and ease of use.
