o dočasné aktivity (this week, today, this year…): I am staying in a hotel until they change the locks. I
usually go to work by train. Today I am going on foot.
o iritujúce, niečo čo ti lezie na nervy (always): The neighbor’s dog is always barking
at night. She is always making stupid jokes. POROVNAJ!!! She always talks in
class. She is always talking in class.
o naplánovaná udalosť (tomorrow, next Monday...): I’m visiting Jane tomorrow.
I’m seeing the doctor next week. We are going to the cinema tonight.

o aktivity ukončené v minulosti (last Monday, week, night… in 2003, in 1957, when, ...two days,
months…AGO): She was born in 1996. I travelled to Paris two weeks ago. We were in Alps last Christmas.

o minulé zvyky, pravidelne sa opakujúce aktivity v minulosti (always, never, often, every): I always played
here, when I was younger. She USED to drink a lot, when she was angry. We drove to England every summer.

o skúsenosť a zážitky (ever, never, twice, often,
before…): I have never been to London. She hasn’t
read that book. I have seen that movie. Have you
flown before?
o činnosť, ktorá začala v minulosti a pokračuje do súčasnosti (since, for,
JUST, up to now, so far): I have read plenty of books so far. He has
been married five times up to now. I have lived in BA all my life. I have been married for 10 years. She
has worked here since June.

o ukončená udalosť v neukončenom časovom intervale (this

morning, this year, today, so far): We haven’t had much snow
this year. J.K Rowling has written 8 books.

6. PRESENT PERFECT – predprítomný priebehový
