How well do you know yourself?

Answer the following questions in one thorough paragraph on this form

1. Where do you see yourself in September of next year? How do you plan to
get there? I see myself attending Oakwood College studying to get my BS in
Mathematics. I plan on getting to that point by keeping my grades up and
making sure I do not get into any trouble up until I start school.

2. What kind of life do you want to have in the future- 5, 10, 20 years from now?
In 5 years i plan to have graduated college with my BS in mathematics and my
Master’s in Electrical Engineering and will be rapidly job searching after college. In
10 years I hope to have bought myself an apartment and have a steady job for
myself. In 20 years I plan on having a family of my own being happily married with
an even better job at that point.
3. What do you think you need to do to make that life a reality? I think that I
need to become a hermit and live in the library and study all day and night.
Not let anybody distract me from doing my work.

4. Why do you think this is what you need to do? I think that is what I need to
do because most of my family members were not successful in college
because they let their friends pressure them into “Having fun”.

5. What skills, talents, or strengths do you think you have that will help you
develop this kind of life? I think that humor is one of my strengths and I
think that will help me lighten up the mood.

6. What skills, talents, or strengths do you think you need to develop to create
this kind of life? I think that I need to increase my leadership skills to help me
to reach the lifestyle that I want to be at. My perseverance needs to be on a
whole other level.

established for yourself or to create the kind of life you want to have? I think
