Leadership Framework

1. Your philosophy of education- My educational philosophy is that all students should have the
opportunity to receive a quality and fair educational experience no matter his or her zip code.
Students should have access to college and career readiness programs no matter which pathway
he or she takes after high school graduation.

2. Your philosophy of leadership- Leadership requires a growth mindset. A leader who is willing to
face challenges and setbacks and grow from them. A leader who leads by example, has a positive
attitude and has determination. Also, someone who builds positive and supporting relationships
with all stakeholders: students, teachers, parents, and etc. And is able to establish a positive
school climate and culture. Leadership is having the ability to transform and collaborate with
others and give and receive constructive criticism and feedback.

3. Your vision for learners- My vision for learners is that all students are able to learn and walk
away each school year feeling confident and prepared in their ability to advance and grow as a
learner. This will only happen when all their needs: social, emotional, and academic are
appropriately met on a daily basis; so that students become productive and technologically
advanced citizens of the future.

4. Your vision for teachers- My vision for teachers is that their commitment to students is expressed
in the work they do on a daily basis. They are building relationships with students and
challenging students to do their best academically and behaviorally every day. I envision a school
where teachers fully understand their “why” which ultimately determines the “what” and “how”
they will provide quality instruction to all students.

5. Your vision for the organization- My vision for the school organization is that it becomes a safe
haven for learning that prepares students for social, emotional and academic successes beyond the
school doors, so that they are well-rounded citizens who will make a positive impact on the
world.

6. Plan for vision attainment- I plan to achieve these goals by first being a positive and productive
leader myself. I will go into the role assessing the composition of the campus and analyzing the
data, share my vision and plans for success in a collaborative forum and then implement
strategies that will best serve the students and staff and finally I would evaluate these
implementations for any improvements and or changes. Overall, I plan to achieve these goals
with the support of my team as one person cannot successfully run or improve a school it takes a
village of people: students, parents, teachers, administrators and etc. who all have a shared-vision
for success.
