STATUS REPORT FOR 42 MW SOLAR ROOF TOP SYSTEM

Shinde.

Consulting Company for the Sundream

M/S EPDC PROJECTS PRIVATE LIMITED, is one of the service provider company registered under Ministry of
Corporate Affairs. Registered office at # 853, 17th G Main, 5th Block, Behind East West Academy,
Rajajinagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. Our company is expert in undertake PMC (Project Management
Consultant) services and we are technically advising for the implementation of non-conventional energy
projects like solar projects (off-grid and on grid) roof top systems, etc., wind project, mini hydel, we also
provide service concept to implementation. We are the PMC consultant for the solar roof top projects
(separate sheet attached).

Solar Roof Top System:

According to vide G.O. No. 5/34/2013-14/RT, The Ministry is implementing a ‘Grid Connected Rooftop and
Small Solar Power Plants Program’ in which the solar rooftop plants from 1 kWp to 500 kWp are set up. So
far, the grid connected rooftop projects with aggregate capacity of 356 MWp have been sanctioned and
the 40 MWp aggregate capacities have been installed in the country.
The following benefits are already available for setting up grid connected rooftop and small solar power
plants in our country besides, subsidy of MNRE:
1. Accelerated depreciation benefits to the eligible industry and commercial establishments.
2. State subsidies.
3. It is estimated that a huge potential of grid connected rooftop systems is available in the country.
4. However, due to limited availability of budget, it may not be possible to provide central capital
subsidy to all categories of beneficiaries. Those entities which are already paying higher tariff for
conventional power (more than CERC’s rate for solar power) may not require any subsidy as the
rooftop projects would be attractive and viable even without any subsidy.
5. For grid connected rooftop solar projects, the priority will be given for the following sectors for
providing the subsidy of MNRE i.e. Keeping in view the constraints of availability of funds, falling
prices, economic viability of the system, besides, benefits listed above, all State Nodal Agencies,
State Departments, commercial establishments, Channel Partners, System Integrators etc. are
advised to set up grid connected rooftop projects.
6. Allotee will get approval from KERC for the implementation of Solar Roof Top System.
Most of the customers are having approximately 42 MW Poly House, Poultry Form and Cattle Sheds Solar
Roof Top System with valid PPA agreement with ESCOMs it is with the individual capacity of 1000 KW and
500 kw , at different places. Please go through with the following details

STAGES OF THE PROJECT

1. Allottee/farmers are already having tie up with the developer named as M/s PRANAM URJA PRIVATE
LIMITED, M/s VARIATE CONSULTANTS PVT. LTD., M/s Yashved Eco solutions, M/s A.B Electricals Pvt.
Ltd., M/s Taha Energy Pvt. Ltd., M/s Samarth Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., M/s KPP Heaven Energy Imports
Pvt. Ltd., (M/s Sunday Solars Pvt. Ltd.,) and M/s Simbia Agritech India Pvt. Ltd., (Ballyhoo Pvt. Ltd.,)
2. These abovementioned Developers already tie up with M/S SUNDREAM INFRAVENTURES INDIA LLP.
3. After tie up with the developer, M/s EPDC Projects Pvt. Ltd. has conducted the site survey and
collected all the documents from the farmer and then prepared the Feasibility Report for getting
clearances from the concerned departments.
4. Prepared Pre-Feasibility report and Detailed Project Report.
5. Strengthening of the permanent shed for the Poultry Form and cattle shed which is already existed
and issued work to the concerned contractor according to the technical requirements.
6. Allottee already got extension from the Govt. i.e. ACS Energy Department and they issue the
direction to the concerned ESCOMS and they visit the site for verification and collect the documents
for the same.
7. Now ESCOM’s Managing Director issued the directions for the inspection of the site and collecting
the documentation and submit the same.
8. Our consultant (M/s EPDC Projects Pvt. Ltd.,) now collecting the views/documentations, civil
structure, technical details of electrical, technical details of civil, R.R numbers. (Inject the power
through Net Metering) If it is necessary for the power pooling stations.
