APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATE AND

PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS
1. Application form, obtained at IER Secretariat or at the Institution’s website
www.engineersrwanda.rw

2. Presentation of bank pay slip of non refundable Application fees of Rwf 10,000
payable on the Institution’s account No 2110035556 open in GT Bank (Rwanda) Lt

3. Notarized Degree certificates

4. Photocopy of national identity card

5. 1 passport photo

6. Technical Report for those applying to become Professional Engineers/Associates

Certification Requirements
After being admitted as a professional engineer/Associate, He/ She will be required to pay
practicing fees amounting to Rwf 100,000. Graduate engineers will be required to pay Rwf
10,000 as registration fees. Nationals of Foreign Countries outside EAC pay USD 300 for
practicing license. All nationals of foreign countries should present valid registration/practicing
certificates issued by regulatory/professional bodies of their respective countries.

NB: It takes a maximum period of one month to issue a practicing certificate to an applicant.
