Hazard (B) Falling Objects
The Critical Factors:
Any unsecured object at height may be
liable to fall given because one or more of
the following critical factors:
- Moving: sloping surface.
- Vibration
- Push (even from the wind, speed
vehicle, or hitting by another.

Hazard Controls:
- Keep the tools/wastes far from an
edge or on a sloping surface.
Falling Objects from: - Use toe-board for temporary elevated
- Buildings, scaffolds, and ladders platforms.
- Excavation collapse/ cave-ins - Use safe handling techniques.
- Collapse of ground - Appropriate PPE: (e.g. safety footwear,
