LIZ TAYLOR, AL PACINO AND TWENTY OTHER CELEBRITIES DOODLE FOR DISABILITIES:

Life Steps Foundation aims to raise awareness about its lifesaving services

LOS ANGELES, September 27, 2010 – Life Steps Foundation, with the support of M*A*S*H star, Mike Farrell and cre-
ative contributions from Liz Taylor, Al Pachino, Martin Sheen, Jay Leno, Glen Close, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ed McMahon
and other celebrities, is hosting Doodles for Disabilities: a celebrity art silent auction that will take place at the Farrell
home, on Wednesday, October 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served; the event is free
and open to the community.

Life Steps Foundation, a California based non-profit organization, provides services for thousands of children, teens
and adults with physical, emotional, developmental and mental health disabilities. Life Steps equips those living with
special needs with the necessary skills to grow as responsible, self-sufficient citizens by providing in-home and
center-based services.

“People who deal with disabilities have the right to enjoy life’s blessings and participate in the world like the rest of us,”
said Mike Farrell, this year’s Doodles for Disabilities host. “Life Steps allows them to do that.” Farrell is a passionate hu-
man rights activist. His daughter, Erin Farrell, has been a Life Steps board member for the past six years.

Doodles for Disabilities is an annual fundraiser for Life Steps. Proceeds from the celebrity doodles allow Life Steps to
continue to fund social services programs that are provided to low-income individuals with diabilities living across the
state of California.

“Nearly 20% of Californians report a need for mental health services,” said Leah Weiner, director of development for Life
Steps. “Once the Governor’s Mental Health Budget reduction of $452.3 million hits the homes of the disabled commu-
nity, our services will be in higher demand than ever before. With California’s budget on hold, paying for these services
is next to impossible.”

Life Steps has launched a social media campaign including a Twitter (@LifeStepsFound), blog and Flickr page
featuring celebrity artwork, to engage communities in its cause and showcase the services provided. Parties interested
in attending Doodles for Disabilities should RSVP by calling 310-491-9010 or emailing doodle@lifestepsfoundation.
