Minutes of the First Homeroom PTA meeting


Grade VIII - Timothy

The first PTA meeting of Grade VIII Timothy was held on June 11, 2015 in the
school premises under the supervision of the class adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos with the
approval of Mr. Dennis T. Dela Torre, Principal I. The class adviser welcomed the parents.
She introduced the class officers –to the parents. She made the parents aware of the status of
students’ enrolment and classroom learning development; it was for the all-round
development of the child. She highlighted the attitude and learning styles of Timoteos so that
there is healthy relationship among students, teachers and parents.

Following points were discussed in the meeting by the adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos: -

1. Parents must attend PTA meeting as it enables them to know about the area of
weakness and progress of their child.
2. Parents should check notebooks stress on assignments and projects
3. Parents should ensure that the students are officially enrolled for SY 2015-2016 with
records like F137, 138, NSO, Good moral Character.
4. Parents were made aware of the new grading system for K to 12 Basic Education
Program approved by DepEd. New education is totally activity based and
encouragement and motivation must be ensured by parents. Adviser emphasized that
nowadays, learning system tells that a teacher is a facilitator and students should
develop holistically.
5. School regulations are given emphasis like:
 The students should come to school in time.
 They should come in neat and clean uniform and others that are strictly
observed and implemented
6. The periodic tests would be conducted for continuous comprehensive evaluation.
Assessment would be done in terms of grade and not marks.
7. Co-Curricular activities – Apart from the formal education there are many co-
curricular activities to develop the all-round personality of the child.
8. Parents are advised to meet the class teacher every end of the quarter.
9. Lastly, parents also gave their suggestions which were welcomed by the teacher and
the parents were assured for the implementation of the good things told by them.
II. Second part of the meeting was the election of Homeroom PTA Officers. The newly set
of officers are:

President: Mary Ann Alea


Vice President: Joy Quintia
Secretary: Bernaliza Perez
Treasurer: Raquel Marasigan
Auditor: Ma. Theresa Edica
PIO: Elvira Basilan
Bus. Mgr: Francisco Aquino

1. After the election, Mrs. Mary Ann Alea, the Elected president conducted the meeting
about the class project. They agreed to have a mini-library or a reading corner inside
the classroom. The parents agreed to pay 150.00 for the said project until August
2015.

2. Some suggested that all parents should be informed properly by giving letters/
approval letters for the project.

3. They estimated the project costs with this breakdown:

4 marine plywood ¾ 3900.00


2 marine plywood ¼ 760.00
1 kl # 2 nails 100.00
½ kl #2 nails 50.00
7 pcs S4s 700.00
5 liters paint 750.00
2 roller 105.00

TOTAL 6365.00
Parents’ meeting was done successfully with 17 parents’ attendance as reflected in
the record, 25 parents signed the letter of approval for the meeting.

The second PTA meeting of Grade VIII Timothy was held on September 5, 2015 in
the school premises under the supervision of the class adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos with the
approval of Mr. Dennis T. Dela Torre, Principal I. The class adviser welcomed the parents.
She acknowledged the class officers –to their parents because of the accomplishments done
within the peiod. She made the parents aware of the status of students’ attendance and
classroom learning development; it was for the all-round development of the child. She
highlighted the attitude and learning styles of Timoteos so that there is healthy relationship
among students, teachers and parents.

Following points were discussed in the meeting by the adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos: -

observed and implemented

 Absences/ tardiness were discussed

6. The periodic tests would be conducted for continuous comprehensive evaluation.

Minutes of the Fourth Homeroom PTA meeting


Grade VIII - Timothy

The fourth PTA meeting of Grade VIII Timothy was held on January 23, 2016 in the
school premises under the supervision of the class adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos with the
approval of Mr. Dennis T. Dela Torre, Principal I. The class adviser welcomed the parents.
She acknowledged presence of the parents after the strongest typhoon struck the province.
Stories of survival was shared during the meeting. She made the parents aware of the status
of students’ attendance and classroom learning development; it was for the all-round
development of the child. She highlighted the attitude and learning styles of Timoteos so that
there is healthy relationship among students, teachers and parents.

Following points were discussed in the meeting by the adviser, Mrs. Jasmin G. Rayos: -
